Fight Clubs Online. Is it worth doing or Not?
A couple of days ago God spoke to me and told me that I should start Fight Clubs so that not only would it help people learn more about the Bible but it would also help them bring their fears and addictions out into the open and be able to Fight it off and thus clear anything that would otherwise disrupt our walk with God.
And so I started off with Fight Clubs back here (and I am writing this after having hosted eight fight clubs) where I am and so far it has been an amazing experience, not just for myself but to all of those that attended. Not only did I get to meet new people but I also felt myself in this comfortable environment where I was able to open up myself to those that attended. Feeling the amazing power and the Blessing of these Fight Clubs, I decided to start them online too so that people from all over the world can join in too and experience this as well. So do read on and you’ll find out more.
So what are Fight Clubs?
Well it’s most certainly not a place where we get together and fight each other. Fight Clubs is simply a small group of likeminded people who are working their way through life together just the same as you are which you can be a part of.
Basically the heart and soul behind a Fight Club is to fight against sin, together just like a small family, and to fight for the Gospel in order that your relationship with Christ becomes stronger until it comes to that point where it’s unbreakable.
Tell Me More
There will be more than one Fight Club, with each Fight Club fighting a specific kind of sin that needs to be addressed and dealt with immediately. For example, there will be Fight Clubs based around:
Addiction to Pornography, Masturbation and Lust
Depression, Loneliness, Self Harm
Substance Abuse
Relationships and Love
And many more…
As you’d notice, each of the above are a few of the many problems that exist in our world today and each of these are obstacles that block our paths that lead to Christ and stops us from living a life that is truly fulfilling and Blessed. Each of the problems mentioned above will have its own Fight Club which you can be a part of.
Not only will we be Fighting these “sins” together but we shall also be studying the Bible together and learn what God has to teach us that day. We will be praying together sharing ideas, testimonies and even simply chat just so that we would get to know each other better in our family.
How many people will a Fight Club have and what kind of people would they be?
Each Fight Club will have five members per session (excluding the Club Leader). You will be placed into a session and once you are, the people who are placed with you into that session will be like family to you. Throughout the year, you will meet with your “family” and together as a family and a team (Yes!! We shall be having team names too) we shall fight whatever the “sin” that you may be dealing with.
Like I mentioned earlier, each Fight Club will have totally likeminded people- in the sense that they would all be fighting the same addiction as you are. For example if you join a Fight Club which is themed around Pornography, Masturbation & Lust, each member of your “Family” would also be fighting the same addiction as you are. This way, you will have each member of your family who can relate to you and you wouldn’t feel left out and instead you’d be more of a part of your little family.
So what’s the schedule of the Fight Club?
A schedule hasn’t been confirmed yet (I’ll mention why later on below) but I will give you a general idea of how it will work. Basically the Fight Club will take place during four days of the week which will be from Monday-Thursday. On each day there would be around two sessions of two categories of Fight Clubs. Just for illustrations sake, here is an example of what it may look like for Monday:
Monday:
Fight Club 01 (Pornography, Masturbation & Lust)
Session 01: 0900-1000
Session 02: 1500-1600
Fight Club 02 (Depression, Loneliness & Self Harm)
Session 01: 1200-1300
Session 02: 1800-1900
The above is simply an example to illustrate what the schedule of a Fight Club for a single day may look like. As you many have noticed, the sessions are short one hour sessions and might, on some occasions, extend for a couple of minutes before the session completely wraps up.
How do the Fight Clubs gather?
Online ofcourse and will take place in private chat rooms. There won’t be video (webcam) capabilities at this time during the fight clubs but might happen sometime soon into the future.
Do I have to pay to join?
God’s grace is free to all of us and so is this. This is not something that I created from the back of my head when I woke up one fine morning but this is completely Gods willing.
Who can join?
Anyone who wants to learn more about Christ from any part of the world is more than welcome to join in.
When are the Online Fight Clubs scheduled to start?
This is not confirmed yet and I will tell you why below.
So what’s up with the “un-confirmed” stuff? Why are they un-confirmed?
This is because we need your feedback and response in order to confirm a start to our Fight Club. Basically, these are the questions I wish to ask from you?
Do you think this whole “Fight Club” thing is a good idea?
Apart from the above categories of “sin”, what other issues that you feel that Fight Clubs need to deal with?
We want as many people to join and to do that you need to be able to find the time to join into a session? What times and days of the week are you generally available at (make sure you state your time in GMT)? (Use the time converter link below to convert your local time to GMT time. This makes it easier for us to design a schedule for the sessions).

We wish to get your feedback to the above questions because the Chat Room we wish to host our Fight Clubs aren’t free and we need to pay to use the service. We decided to use a provider (that requires payment to use the service) such as this due to the fact that the Chat capabilities are crisp, privacy is amazing and the entire service as a whole is pretty reliable in comparison to the free service providers out there. One again, this does not mean you need to pay to join into a Fight Club. Fight Clubs are free for you to join and we pay all the costs on our own and we want to do this to help you all and to reach out to as many people as possible with Christ’s message and his love for you.
I apologize if this was long but this was the best way to explain everything that is to Fight Clubs. I know that we may have not answered all of the questions that you may have so feel free to ask us any question that you may have. In the mean time, we do need your feedback to start Fight Clubs and so do leave a reply down at the Reply box attached to this post and depending on feedback, we will decide if it’s worth starting up Fight Clubs. We personally think it’s amazing and not only will it help you in your personal walk with Christ but you’d also get to meet other people just like yourself and make an amazing friend too.
Please make sure your share and reblog so that we can have as much feedback and response to this which will ensure that we can kick start Fight Clubs.
So what do you think? Is this worth doing or is it not?
