If you have a habit you want to incorporate in your day, ask Allah to make it easy for you. Make it a part of your regular duaas, for intentionally remembering it in prayer will make it easier to remember it outside of prayer.
Be intentional about why you want to make this a habit. Your intentions make all the difference. Your intention is what places barakah in what you do. Your intention is what will make it an enjoyable process. Your intention is what will make this habit something you are rewarded for by Allah.
Do you want to incorporate the Quran more in your day? Ask Allah to make it easy. Perhaps He will remind you to read a page during your daily commute.
Do you want to exercise every day? Ask Allah to make it easy. Perhaps you will find a form of exercise you really enjoy (and get really good at!) 💪
Do you want to pray tahajjud? Ask Allah to make it easy. Perhaps you will find joy in talking to Him regularly about all that’s in your heart.
Do you want to practice gratitude? Ask Allah to make it easy. Perhaps He will give you plenty of reasons to be grateful to Him.
Do you want to fast once a week or pray in the masjid daily? Ask Allah to make it easy. Perhaps He will send you a friend with the same intention, so that you may motivate each other.
Do you want to build a consistent sleep schedule? Ask Allah to make it easy. Perhaps He will allow you to build a routine that primes your mind and body to rest when it’s supposed to.
Do you want to regularly give to charity? Ask Allah to make it easy. Perhaps you will see a barakah in your money that encourages you to do it more often.
Do what you can to ensure you’re holding yourself accountable, and ask for Allah’s help to make it easy. Have tawakkul, for Allah loves those who rely on Him to achieve their goals. It’s always hardest in the beginning. But I promise, with the right intention and effort, you’ll be months in and feel so grateful that you started today 🩵
BARAKAH : A Journey of Blessings
Barakah بركة . The word rolls off the tongue with a gentle cadence, a whisper of promise. In English, it's often translated as "blessings," but this is a mere shadow of its true meaning. To me, Barakah is a living, breathing entity, a divine grace that infuses life with purpose, growth, and enduring peace.
It is more than abundance; it is the promise of increase, a seed that blossoms into a bountiful harvest. Barakah is the steady rhythm of continuity, a comforting presence in the ebb and flow of life. It is the grounding force, the steadfast anchor in a world often adrift.
I discovered that cultivating Barakah involves a conscious effort. Practices like immersing oneself in the Quran, expressing gratitude, and aligning actions with divine purpose can invite Barakah into your life. This shift in perspective transformed my journey. The relentless pursuit of personal gain was replaced by a meaningful quest for purpose and impact.
I found that with Barakah as a compass, contentment and tranquility become natural companions. It's a path that leads away from the constant hustle and towards a life rich in meaning.
Remember, Barakah is a gift that requires tending. It's a choice, a journey, and a destination. Embrace it, and let its blessings enrich every aspect of your life.
May this article serve as a gentle reminder to myself and anyone who encounters it, of the profound power of Barakah. Here’s a Dua to remember and use:
اللّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي أَعْمَالِنَا وَ وَفِّقْنَا لِمَا تُحِبُّ وَ تَرْضَى Allahuma barik lana fi A'amalina wa wafiqna lima tuhib wa tarda

“All you need to know and observe in yourself is this: Whenever you feel superior or inferior to anyone, that’s the ego in you.”
— Eckhart Tolle
My biggest fear is being buried six feet deep when I’m nowhere near being the Muslim I want to become. May Allah shower his mercy upon us, and grant us light in the grave.
It's terrifying how quickly the mind forgets accepted dua. When it's time to ask again we hesitate, feeling insecure about its acceptance, forgetting that we once prayed for the impossible & received more than possible. Don't leave your confidence behind when it's time to ask.
ya Allah let me have an opportunity to see the beauty of sheep on green mountains in real life before i die. aamin.

In Surah Taha, when Allah tells Musa (as) to take His signs to Firoun–He tells him "speak to him in soft words. Maybe, he accepts the advice or fears (Allah)”. [20:44]
Allah is telling Musa (as) to speak softly to a man who calls himself God. Allah gave Firoun another chance. SubhanAllah, if this is the mercy of Allah for a defiant and arrogant disbeliever, how much mercy must He have for the one who believes in Him and obeys Him.🥺💌
From the supplication of Musa عليه السلام,
O Allāh soften my heart with repentance & do not make my heart hard as a stone.
