Something I noticed while watching tpot 20 was this. Every number is scared of One, and is sad but looking at her. X is the only one that looks guilty and looks away. And I know why. Its because X did the same thing before

X is the ONLY letter that lives in the equation playground. And we have seen in other shorts other symbols like Pi, living with Square root etc. This implies there is also a society of letters. But why is X not living with his letter friends ? Its because X KILLED someone, but instead of being locked away X ran away. He moved on and started living with the numbers to forget about his bloody past.

X feels guilty because he did the same thing before, because he understands One. Both of them did it as an accident and tried to run away from it. But before when X killed, he didnt had powers so he couldnt fix it, which is why he ran away. X killed someone and has been hiding this from us all this time.

Since I’m not in any fandom spaces, I haven’t witnessed this firsthand, but apparently the BFDI team has been receiving significant backlash for releasing BFDIE instead of what most people were expecting (TPOT/BFDIA/IDFB.)

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but sending hate and death threats to the JNJ team is unacceptable. Sure, the new episode may not have been what we were expecting, but that does not give anyone the right to be hostile and nasty. I understand the widespread disappointment, but seriously, do not engage in this type of behavior.

Since BFDIA is coming to a close, it’s not unexpected that they would start up a new season in its place. This is a new cast of characters rather than the ones we know and love, but once upon a time, all our BFDI favorites were also new, and had to be given a chance to develop. It’s unreasonable to compare this new season to well-developed ones like TPOT and BFDIA right off the bat. Think about how all of the people who put their hearts into this new season must feel right now, and don’t contribute to the fandom’s maelstrom of negativity.

It’s important to keep in mind that JNJ is an indie studio, not some big corporation. Let’s be grateful that the team continues to uphold their tradition of celebrating anniversaries and that they supply us with so much content to enjoy for free with ease of access. Not a lot of studios with the status JNJ has would remain so down-to-earth and in-touch with their fans. Be polite. Be kind. Have etiquette. Please. Let’s return the love our favorite studio has stirred in our hearts for so many years rather than tearing them down.
