Salam Azizam Tour

Last month, the whole crew behind “Salam Azizam” went around europe to present the film. Sina Shamyani, the main character in the movie was able to come out of Iran for the first time and did the tour as well. We started the tour with the Freeride Film Festival with 5 dates in three different countries; Austria, Poland and Germany. Every night the cinema were full and the organisation was more than on point! After these first dates, we showed the film in Geneva, Schwyz and Champéry. A few more dates will take place before we’ll put the film on internet for sale.

Future screenings: 5th December - Bourg St-Maurice, France 12th December - Monthey, Switzerland (at the Kremlin)

Swiss Freeski Open and Audi Snowboard Series at Glacier 3000

Winter is back, and so snowboard and ski competitions as well ! Recently took place on the snowpark of the Glacier 3000, the first Swiss Freeski Open and Audi Snowboard Series of the season.

“Salam Azizam” Teaser - WE RIDE IN IRAN

The trailer of “Salam Azizam”, the documentary film I did in Iran last winter is here!

Salam Azizam portrays the surprising iranian freeski community through a road trip with an iranian freerider, Sina Shamyani. It also shows other talents such as Reza Tabazade and Misagh Molai while four swiss riders (Greg Tuscher, Ben Goncerut, Arnaud Cottet and Rolf Bissig) discover the country.

Salam Azizam will be part of the Freeride Film Festival (more info here) and will be screened around Europe in November. A premiere will also be held in Geneva and Lausanne this fall. Finally the entire movie will be released online for free in November.

“Paradigme” Teaser

Here’s the teaser of “Paradigme”, a documentary film by Julien Roserens about snowboarding in Wallis and which I’m doing the whole editing of the film. “Paradigme is a project by ERO ONE Films following a group of friends from western Switzerland while riding their local resorts in the Wallis, with the goal of sharing their passion for snowboarding and mountains with the public. Mainly focusing on their everyday lives filming videos parts, the crew aims to try and explain what drives them to keep at it.” - Transworld Snowboarding

2 Weeks in Iran

Last February, Arnaud Cottet organised a trip in Iran to discover some unridden territory with Sina Shamyani, a ski instructor from Tehran and his bus. Our swiss crew was composed of Arnaud, Greg Tuscher, Ruedi Flück and Rolf Bissig. We spent a week traveling in the north-west of Iran and another one around Tehran and on the four ski resorts north of the town. A short film is being edited these days and it will be available in fall 2015. For now, there are a few pictures of the trip below. More informations about the film and a little teaser will come in the future.
