   Linnette briefly saw the images in the brochere but seeing Crenshaw Manor in person was startling to say the least. Everywhere she turned, it was practically a replica of the Antonelli home. Sure, it had been almost a decade since she’s been there but the images were still fresh in her mind and she hoped that someday, she would be able to come back.
   She supposed this was one way she could.
   When she checked in, it was half past ten and the person that was checking her in had glared at her. Linnette merely smiled at the person. Now that it was morning which meant she could explore the place. Unfortunately, she was too busy surveying the surroundings that she stumbled into someone. Literally. “Oh! Sorry about that. Good morning.”
Ever since her hyper realistic nightmare, Julia hadn't felt 100% comfortable at the Crenshaw Manor just yet. She couldn't stop picturing the little boy she saw or hearing his laughter.. it had become unnerving to say the least.
Up early out of habit, she needed something to distract her until Natalia or her friends woke up — whichever came first. On top of everything else, her girlfriend still needed to meet the two most important people in her life.. there was far too much going on right now for Julia's liking.
Leaving her warm bed and sleeping girlfriend behind, Jules scribbles a quick note for her — went exploring, be back soon xo. The blonde bundles herself up in her robe and slippers, grabbing the audio tour she'd picked up upon checking in. It sounded like a good idea and exactly what she needed so.. why not?
Headphones on, rushes out of her suite and to the staircase. Of course, in her haste to begin she doesn't look where she's going. Bumping full on into the other woman, Jules lets out a far less than elegant oof!
After taking a moment to regain her composure, Jules brushes it off. " Ohmygosh no, don't worry. That's what I get for not paying attention. " She says with a light laugh. Jules takes a small breath to recenter herself " Good morning to you too. "

julia. goes by jules and julie. her mother used to call her juju, if anyone else calls her that she’ll lose her shit.
her father was a police officer and was shot in the line of duty when she was young, she raised by her single mother.
she was a later in life pregnancy and an only child.
julia was always a social, outgoing person. she thrived in other people’s company. she had a good heart and a kind soul and it showed.

her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer before julia was bord and had gone into remission. unfortunately, it came back not long after julia graduated high school and spread over the years until there was nothing left to do to treat it.
they couldn’t afford the best options for treatment and insurance could only cover so much.
it wasn’t long before her mother had reached stage 4 and given six months to a year to live.
julia did her best to make her mother comfortable but she was suffering. julia couldn’t take seeing her mother like that.
one day about two years ago, her mother begged her to help her end it all. she didn’t have the heart to do it but she couldn’t see her mother suffer and deteriorate any longer.
being a nurse, julia planned to administer a drug cocktail but she didn’t want her daughter getting into trouble and losing her job/license.Â
after her mother took her painkiller to sleep, julia held a pillow over her face until she stopped breathing.
she’s suffered from depression for years but it got worse after the death of her mom. she knows she did the right thing helping to end her suffering but she still feels guilt over it.
also suffers from anxiety.
she tries her best to be the girl she used to be but it’s hard sometimes. her trips with her friends are her way of reconnecting with that girl bc they bring it out of her.
she doesn’t really have any family. it’s just her, her friends, and her girlfriend.
she’s an oncology nurse as a tribute to her mother.
she likes to draw and enjoys trashy romance novels.Â
she has a good amount of tattoos. ( i picture her physical aesthetic more like flo’s look in fighting with my family mixed with midsommar )
she has an orange cat named nacho who she loves very much.
she doesn’t believe in ghost stories about the manor. she thinks she’s just in for a good time with her loves.
