Their belongings travel with them on their way between the Sahara Desert and the mountains of the High Atlas. Nomad tents are their refuge. To us they are the Mountain Nomads. And they are in us, too. Because we also are in pursuit of freedom. All of us who live to be in the mountains. We encounter them on bike trails, hiking paths, on climbing routes, on the rocks. This search drives us onwards. It turns us into modern nomads. We settle in where the conditions on the mountain are best. Until we hear the far call of the next mountain, the next peak, the next descent...

I still can't believe the US' decision to drop out the Paris climate agreement... it makes me sad and kind of angry. Today, we had another beautiful day doing standup paddeling on our #lakeofconstance. Our earth is so so goddamn beautiful, no matter where you are, if on a lake, on the sea, in the mountains, in the desert or wherever. This picture was taken back in 2015 on the island of Kauai at Waimea Canyon, where I was just speechless and in awe of this beautiful nature. And I felt so tiny compared to the giganticness of the canyon. So please, please people, don't stop fighting to save our earth! Don't let yourselves get down and sad by tiny hearts and tiny minds (even if they are the leader of the "free" world). Fight! Fight for our planet, for a better world.
