Archaeologist problems: Doing a lot of field survey, so you immediately notice that both the survey planet from Muderbot, and the archaeological site on Vadia IX in "Through The Lens of Time" on Star Trek Strange New Worlds, is the same damn quarry in, presumably, Ontario.

As a friend of mine says, Canada is a strange and mysterious place. (I should know, I live here.)

The Expanse shot a lot of of Season 4 there.

And Killjoys shot basically every third episode there. They even used the abandoned mining facility as a set. Every time it was supposed to be a different planet they put a different filter on it.

Is it science fiction? Is it filmed in Toronto? It’s shot there at some point. It’s like the forest that all the Vancouver science fiction and fantasy shows shoot in.

'the weeping somnambulist' is a top 5 entire series expanse episode for me. not one of the usually talked about ones but peeling the layers back and seeing the darkest side of holden’s crusade (and thus naomi’s personal-political dilemma) is just great stuff. and then the beginnings of bobbie-chrisjen’s partnership is just. engaging
