Why would u make plans with someone else for earlier in the day AFTER making plans with me for later, then get mad at me for suggesting a different day since it’s already 8pm and you’re still with the other person???

Rant about curly hair and maybe advice needed:
I am so sick of this humidity 😭 I have curly hair but I like to straighten it because it’s easier to maintain and plus I just like it that way. I know I don’t have to explain myself but I want to say I don’t hate my curly hair. It can be pretty but it’s so much more work and I can’t do anything without messing it up. That being said, I’ve been trying numerous anti-frizz and anti-humidity products- none of which have worked. (Color Wow Dream Coat Spray, Silicon Mix, John Frieda Frizz Ease Serum) I’m beyond frustrated and I don’t even think there’s anything else that could fix my issue.
The only option I can think of is a chemical straightening treatment. I’m not sure though because reviews are 50/50. I just want to feel pretty with my hair how I want to wear it.
I think for now I’ll pull it back into a ponytail so it can just curl as the day goes on. That kind of worked before so maybe that’s what I’ll have to do until the humidity is gone.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated 🫶
Or maybe a wig? But where do I even start? Plus is that even possible in 100 degree heat?? And what do I do with my real hair underneath? Ahhhhh
