Leslie Odom, Jr., who stars in Hamilton as the antihero/narrator Aaron Burr, barely leaves the stage during a performance of the hit musical. But when he does, he makes sure he can rest and relax in style. We take readers inside his dressing room at the Richard Rodgers Theatre.

“We put up the show for Broadway in, like, two-and-a-half weeks… so there was no time,” says Hamilton star Leslie Odom, Jr., leaning against the doorframe of his second-floor dressing room at the Richard Rodgers Theatre. Inside lays a quaint oasis totaling 70 square feet. Enter interior designer, artist, and performer Mike Harrison, who transformed what he calls “a buttery, yellow room” into a place where Odom could “relax before the show, unwind after the show and be able to entertain and have seating areas for guests.“
