When you and Saeran fled Mint Eye, you didn’t take much of anything with you. You’d come with essentially nothing and were leaving with the same; he had the clothes he was wearing and a bag full of laptops (and other mysterious electronic devices). He left his jackets behind—both Ray’s and the other Saeran’s. He said he wouldn’t need them anymore.

In the following weeks, the two of you had neither the time, money, nor emotional capacity to think about things like this. You relied on what you found in Saeyoung’s bunker which—thanks in large part to Vanderwood—was at least stocked with the basic necessities. And he had clothes—including a whole closet full of women’s clothes, which you happily raided.

It was only after both twins were free and their father had turned himself in and Saeran had finally been released from the hospital that you processed how little Saeran actually owned.
