“I didn’t meant it literally, I was being facetious.” She chuckled to herself and shook her head lightly.

“Buy me a latte and I’m yours. I pretty much run on caffeine.”June said with a laugh before she took a sip of her latte. “It’s kinda bad, I depend on coffee to function.”

Elaena gasped, “You’re fibbing!” She spoke, bewildered. “I cannot believe that even though the English language is so vast, there’s no words to rhyme with orange or angel. I think we should make new words.” She suggested, a smile dawning her features.

“I definitely agree. Angel is such a beautiful word and it’s upsetting that nothing rhymes with it.” She replied while looking out a window.

The girl was scribbling away at her notebook, deep in thought before her eye brows stitched together and her voice radiated the air, “Why are there no words that rhyme with orange?” There was sadness in her voice, but her curiosity was stronger. “That’s almost as upsetting as when they announced Pluto to not be a planet anymore.”

She looked up and started to laugh. “That truly is sad. You know nothing rhymes with angel?”

Raleigh narrows his eyes as he bends down to pick up his crumpled shirt, pulling it on as starts to button it. “You know, it’s rude to steal people’s clothes,” he calls out as he extends his arms and slowly walks in a circle. “Now I would ask that you please return my wallet, and maybe while you’re at it perhaps you can explain why you thought it was necessary to lead me to the middle of the woods.”

“Oh come on it was just silly prank.” She said as she stood there with her arms crossed. “Your wallet?” She asked, “That I don’t have. But I could help you find it if you’d like? You’l have a better chance of finding it with two people.”

She stopped where she was walking and turned around, “um, well, if I’m being completely honest, I’m not quite sure.” She let out a laugh, “but this place has been abandoned for years, so the only thing that could harm us are ghosts and animals. But I’m sure that neither are here.” She continued walking into the abandoned amusement park.

“That sounds optimistic…” Alexia breathed out, a nervous laugh tagging along. She took a step into the amusement park, following the girl. Something deep inside her told the princess it was all a horrible idea but throughout the years Alexia had become a master at doing absolutely everything that tiny voice told her not to. Besides, the whole thing did seem pretty fun. Her posture relaxed a bit as she let her worries slowly wash away. “It looks so… sad, had you been here before?”

“Yeah I have. I really like to explore things, and one day when I was out I stumbled upon the amusement park.” She replied as she continued walking. “It’s not too much further.” She looked back at Alexia to make sure she was alright.

tropes – badass adorable

A catch-all term for characters who, while being absolutely adorable, are also extremely badass. What distinguishes the Badass Adorable from their peers is the adorability. Particular emphasis is placed on their inherent vulnerability (emotional or otherwise), which is at odds with the abilities they can access. Underneath the irrepressibly cheerful demeanor, behind the innocent wide-eyed gaze, lies an astonishing capacity for kicking your ass, leveling a city, or why not, leveling an entire country. Perhaps you’ve threatened their loved ones. Perhaps you’ve offended their inviolate sense of justice. Maybe you took the last piece of cake. No matter what shape the grievance against you takes, they will give you an entirely new set of benchmarks to define hurt. Especially if it’s the first one. Their destructiveness is directly proportional to their cuteness.  Examples: Rapunzel (Tangled), Hermione Granger (Harry Potter), Ginny Weasely (Harry Potter), Caroline Forbes (The Vampire Diaries), Clara Oswald (Doctor Who), Camilla Macaulay (The Secret History).

“Yeah, I don’t think I’ve ever been pulled over before.” Di peeked out the window of her black mustang and groaned when she saw the cop, thumping her head against the back of the seat.”

“It’ll be fine,” She said reassuringly, “I hope.” She said under her breath. “We just have to be fine and then everything should be just dandy!” She said trying to calm them both down.

“I dunno, I’ve never been to one of these things before. I’ve seen one go through town, the music was fun to howl too. But the Ferris wheel looks fun, you could get a real breeze going up the top.”
