There may be a looming threat of Raissa becoming a Manananggal. She has wings similar to one, and the flashback montage of Jo and Raissa has her playing as the upper body of the Manananggal during a play. That may be foreshadowing.

What's your favorite thing about the graphic novel PTSD?

Oooooh it's been so long since I last read it-

I think one of the thing I like most is the whole building community/finally finding peace, which is a message that is oh so important to me. And I'm just a big fan of Singelin's artstyle in general (and most of his work tbh ?), I think I just found it a very satisfying and complete read.

Also, I just really like Jun's charadesign and she's so fun to draw, and I love Leona and their relationship aaaa.

I'm sorry this isn't much of a question, but I love how Leona has to run a noodle shop and raise her son after her deadbeat ex left. She admits that it's not always easy, but she never complains and loves the challenge. That's very admirable. Who's your favorite character and why?

Leona is EASILY my favorite character!! Of course I love Jun too, but she's the protagonist and we follow her story for most of the time, so it's hard to not love her. But Leona has always captivated me, she's one of the few characters that I found that are perfect but that doesn't strike me as a mary sue.

This might be due to the fact that Leona's kindness is not necessarily seen as a positive thing in a world full of opportunists and liars, and she had to get used to being beaten down for being denied help. She's also realistic for having to go through harsh times too, and finding her way out of the darkness by finding a purpose to help people in need. Her kindness is genuine and not forced, and we can see that she isn't perfect to the point of not minding when someone doesn't want her help. She feels deeply troubled about being misunderstood, or being affronted.

She also doesn't insist on helping, or atleast not compulsively. She tries, and when it doesn't work, she finds other things to do that she believes it's worth her time. Leona is very independent and doesn't seem to like to rely on other people, and also doesn't expect people to always rely on her. Yet, she still gives people a chance, she doesn't want to let others down, and she's always appearing around to atleast show to Jun that she doesn't have to be afraid or hesitant to accept her help.

Leona is a very sweet character and it's impossible for me to not love her <3 I only wish we knew more about her past, cause god she can live in my head rent free...
