Finally decided to start posting my ceramics projects here (expect to see more custom projects in the upcoming days) I'm so proud of this one, I had never done such detailled lineart and i'm very happy how it turned out
Thank you @bouledoge and @cesshu for your trust !
I commissioned @junemarsch for a custom design on a handmade ceramic mug featuring the Hextech Team 💜 I love these nerds and June did an amazing job and was a pleasure to work with. There were lots of progress updates along the way which honestly just ramped up my excitement to have this in my hot little hands.
The design features Sky, Viktor, and Jayce in the main design. The Hexcore under the handle has tiny little runes on the faces and the Wild Rune inside the cup is a gradient of the pink, purple, and blue from the outside. The colors are even prettier in person and I think June picked the exact right pink when I couldn't quite decide between two.
The mug itself is super light and it holds the temperature of my drink really well. June has A+ packing skills and it survived a trip across the ocean and then a really mixed up delivery day with an ornery postman without a single scratch.
June's shop has some really lovely already made ceramics as well as art, stickers, and washi tape. Go check it out!
Just wanted to bump this up and add that I've been using this piece pretty frequently!
It's really a perfect size and shape so that it fits really comfortably cradled on your hands and the handle is very comfortable to hold.
The glaze/colors/design have held up with no damage or wear and the pottery itself hasn't chipped at all (which I was kind of concerned about because the person in my household who is in charge of dishes doesn't handle them very delicately, I've had more than one good mug broken and stuff with printing or stickers usually gets destroyed).
It's also just great quality pottery in general. Holds temperature decently. You might not want to linger for an extended period over a hot drink but if you're actively drinking, it keeps it at a good temp. It's actually really great at keeping cold things cold and it's become my go-to vessel for iced coffee in the morning.
June honestly did a great job with this and if you're in the market for something functional and different than most other fan merch, I wouldn't hesitate to grab one of the pre-made pieces from their shop or to contact them for a custom piece like I did. Iirc, June also has some non-fandom just generally cute designs, too. I've been moving away from prints and pins and all of that sort of stuff because really, how much can one person have and how much space can you have for them? Having pieces that I can actually use somehow and enjoy using them rather than just passively having them around me has brought me a lot of joy.
Thank you so much for this updated review !
I'm glad the mug is holding up, it's quite difficult to track the state of a piece after its seen some use and it's very important to me that the ceramics i make last through time and use.
This project was such a nice one, its very dear to my heart and i'm so happy to get little updates on it . I am very grateful for your support and how kind and responsive you were during the creation
For those who would be interested, my custom ceramics orders are still open (and if you can't find the exact thing you want you can still shoot me an email , i might still be able to make the piece you want)

Lyctor's duel I have a soft spot for Tessla calling the twins 'little brothers' but also for her being somewhat alive, pissed and eldritch so this scene was amonsgt the first ones i wanted to draw for the Locked tomb AU (more details/explanations about the AU here)
Wip for the Trigun/Locked tomb AU, expanding on Tessla//Cytherea This scene has been rotating in my head ever since i started thinking about the crossover, hope i’ll have the strengh to finish this comic
The locked tomb crossover nobody asked for I just made theses because the parallels between the two sets of twins are easy and i want to draw some Ianthe moments™ with Knives
