Sinking Feeling Drops His New EP: Mine on Jungle Up Records
Ownership obsession recorded live, with no overdubs: that’s what you’ll hear in the latest EP from Sinking Feeling, an artist who fellow musician Andrew Huang calls “Modulation Master.”
Rightfully so. Written in 2020 in a Cape Cod studio full of wires and machines, Sinking Feeling (AKA Nicholas Andolina) elevated the creative process he mastered in his early years. By combining his use of KORG’s iOS apps with Roland, Yamaha, and other industry heavyweights, Nick veers listeners from his usual intense energy toward a revelatory, eclectic, and sensitive experience.
New to this release is Sinking Feeling’s mix of modern and vintage synthesizers and drum machines, paving the way for tracks that make critics like Tim Webb of Discchord call the EP “genius as always.”
Listen to Sinking Feeling’s unpredictable, hands-on approach to electronic music now.
