heeseung was never one for cliché love stories however, when it came to y/n l/n oh his sweet y/n– your name which according to him sounded as sweet as glaze would gladly be the male lead if you wanted him to, he was down bad.

actually scratch that, he wasn't a big fan of heart wretching love stories. he thinks they're just so unfair and cruel to the unrequited, always being left in the dark and in pain. another reason why he hated sad genres was for, he himself knew he was the second lead to his based on true events novel.

you know, the one who gets rejected by the main character, yeah poor guy.

you see there was a tinie-tiny little flaw in his plot, you were his bestfriend's lover. he knew very well that it was wrong to develop heart-eye-syndrome for you but he couldn't help it.

maybe it was because the weather was great that day or.. he had dreamt of you the night before, nonetheless, he was feeling a little courageous today and decided to play secret admirer, placing the bottle of banana milk on your locker with a little sticky note attached showing 'i wish you' d kiss me with your eyes closed'.

he looked around the empty hallway before scurrying towards his classroom, proud grin slowly turning into a frown upon seeing you and yeonjun act so grossly inlove. 'i wish that was me.'

every step feels heavier than the last as he tries to walk to his seat unnoticed to which obviously does not work as yeonjun calls his name with a smile on his face.

gosh why did he have to like them.

stupid feelings, stupid love, stupid heeseung.

he was so conflicted with everything and was so out of it but he had to get a grip otherwise yeonjun would ask about it then his secret wouldn't be a secret anymore, his bestfriend would find out, you would find out.

he snaps out of it, placing his bag on the side of his desk before greeting yeonjun with a handshake.

as the three of them arrive they were lucky enough to fall in line early before chaos pressed play.

honestly, he could care less about the banana milk what he was worrying about was his note, that damn note.

standing infront of your locker he wasted no time taking out what he had initially wanted you to recieve, crumpling the paper to toss in the garbage bin as he went back to where his friends were, scoffing upon remembering the content within the now crushed note.

“i’m going out with his majesty the duke mom, will be back before you know it!” you exclaimed, patting down the creases on your fabric that you created while rushing to wear your sibling’s fancy sandals, almost tripping down the path to the small hills within the woods.

you could make out your lover’s figure leaning against the tree, arms crossed as he watched you almost bump into one of the fallen logs that were scattered amongst many others.

“took you long enough don’t you think darling?” sunghoon raised his eyebrows, taking your hand in his as the two of you walk along the vast fields of green.

“oh come on it was like five minutes-” “few minutes too long” he cut you off, looking elsewhere only for you to catch his red ears, ‘adorable’ you thought to yourself.

"i already set up the blanket while i was waiting for you so we should probably hasten up or else the food will get cold" he fastened his pace as you tried catching up with him, a few giggles leaving your mouth, curse him and his long legs.

when the both of you arrive at the spot, you didn't even try to contain your wide smile as you latched your hands onto his neck, giving him a warm hug. you can tell he worked really hard on decorating the picnic spot because of how neat and pretty it looked, he even placed a bouquet of flowers in the middle of the space as he scratched his nape plastering on a shy grin.

"tada..?"

he said, doing jazz hands to make the surprise even more.. better i suppose? your laughs filled up the air as you sat down patting the space opposite of you for him to sit on.

the both of you were eating, doing your own things and talking about whatever there was to talk about, it was peaceful and happy and you were more than grateful to be able to spend the day with him like this, he aswell.

so as time went on the two of you were now laying down on the blanket, head on his chest as you made out shapes and things the clouds reminded you of, you had no clue what he was about to do but you sensed how uneasy he was the whole time, so you asked.

"my dear, is there something bothering you? you seem a bit nervous for some reason, don't tell me i still make you flustered after all these years? c'mon tell me baby."

you kissed his nose and gave him a reassuring smile signalling him to spill what was on his mind. however, to your surprise he stands up and ushers you to stand up as well before finally taking ahold of your hands.

"y/n, love, i um– sorry uh–" he stuttered, heart almost bursting out of his chest as he looked for the right words to say.

'gosh i've recited this for so many times why am i forgetting it now when i'm about to say it'

he met your confused expression, letting out an anxious cough as he continued.

"sweetheart, i know this is sudden but that's usually how proposals are supposed to go right? anyways–"

you were baffled, "wait– proposal? you're proposing to me?"

he kneeled down not caring about whether the tad muddy grass beneath stained his pants as he opened the velvet box which held his precious family ring inside.

this is an update/continuation regarding my previous post.

if anyone is still confused as onto what is going on, this post talks about the issue that has surfaced less than a week ago surrounding the kpop idol group, enhypen. in one of the clips that they posted, a snippet was cut out and the background audio of the short clip caused a hot debate to occur between engenes, the mentioned kpop group’s fandom name.

it was heard that one of the members was singing a song entitle ‘love galore’ by sza, in the lyrics that they had sung, people were pointing out that the member uttered out the n word while singing.

it became a hot issue because a lot of people were complaining that they did not hear the n word in the audio, at the same time a lot of other engenes pointed out that they heard it. personally, i am not going to give out my opinions on whether i heard it or not because just like the previous post,

i already stated that i am asian and i have no rights to discuss about any matter regarding the n word.

now back to what i was going to say.

a lot of ‘engenes’ were attacking black engenes, saying that this situation was not serious at all and this shouldn’t be a concerning topic in the beginning, which was wrong because black engenes have all the rights to know what was really happening in the video and whether the person that was singing the song said it or not.

i am still traumatised by the comments and remarks that i read on the weverse. people were posting pictures of black people getting lynched and was complaining to bring it back because black engenes were deemed nuisances to them. to people that are still unaware of the severity of this situation, these pictures are for you.

it took a lot of nerve for me to write and post this because i am scared of getting threats but there was little to none of people that will address the suffering of black engenes in the tumblr so i am going to just post, if anyone wants to come forward and attack me you are welcomed to do so, i won’t give a shit.

and today, i found out that there was an engene that committed suicide because of the constant attacks she received from other ‘engenes’. it was said that enhypen was her only motivation to keep on continue living, and to know that she had passed away because of this was heartbreaking. i did not know the engene personally but i could not imagine how heartbroken she must have been getting attacked just because she was stating their opinions as a black engene.

imagine getting attacked just because you stood up for your own rights.

humans are fucking sick.

rest in peace to the op, lets all send our warmest regards to their family.

i truly hope that by me posting this, a lot of people are aware that this situation is nothing to be made fun of anymore. this is fucking serious. someone committed a suicide because of this, if you still can sit back and acted like you didn’t see nothing then something is wrong with you.

and finally, belift has finally made a move after a long time. they had released their email address and through this, we can contact them regarding this issue. let them know that things have gone out of control and they needed to take actions as fast as possible.
