It’s so bizarre to me how u can meet someone and they change ur life forever. like u can bump into someone at a party and then wound up married years later. all because you bumped into them. you can meet someone and view life completely differently because they changed ur perspective. you can learn so much about yourself through the people you surround yourself with and those people can uncover new versions of you and you don’t even realise how different you are until you reflect on all the patterns and habits you’ve shed. we affect each other so beautifully. i am grateful to be existing at the same time as all of you. i hope the next person you bump into helps shape your life in a beautiful, magical way. and i hope you remain open to all of the possibilities life has to offer you because you never know where your next decision could take you.

There'll be a moment when you realise you're 27 when yesterday you were just 17; and you wouldn't be able to tell how a decade passed away and your life got divided into before and afters. The fury of youth will subdue and nothing will really change but everything will feel different when you look at old photographs and blurry videos taken on cheap mobile phones. Scents will remind you of childhood and certain friends you don't talk to anymore, hangouts will become reunions and mom's burnt pie will become the best food you ever had. And I know on some days you won't be able to show anything of those 10 years but I hope you remember to breathe, and let go of the knot in your chest. I hope you go out in the sun and live a little, because tomorrow is 37.

Some notes I wrote down during the twins of faith conference. Sh. Tawfique Chowdhury’s 10 rules to success when starting a business/project. Give it a read! Btw he was talking really fast so I wrote down what I could.

DREAMS INTO REALITY: 1. Have a vision. Write it down. 2. Get the right people on board. ( share your vision with others ) You need someone who is head of human resource & head of finance ) 3. Strategy ( how are you going to do it?) (sit down with others.) ( write it down and really plan it out) 4. Cash. ( Put down your money. ) ( Don’t wait to fundraise, put your own money down. It starts with you. Is it important enough for you to truly invest! 5. Rhythm. ( The rhythm of meetings. Regular coming together. ) ( Communication. ) 6. 90 day priorities. Each 90 days choose one priority that everyone works towards. 7. Data Collector. Review the data every two weeks. You need to have your finger on the pulse. 8. Every month evaluate if your team is right for you and your goal. Right person. Right Job. 9. Are they doing the job right? If not what can I do to help them? 10. Who is your mentor? Who do you bounce your ideas off of? Someone who has knowledge. Someone that you can ask questions and rely on. Someone who can help guide you in your projects. Someone who can push you through the limits. Someone who can wake you up.
