Spamton: The Prince of Absolute Denial (lee leaning switch)
Oh boy, this one runs deep. But we'll start with the short (lol) bit first. His ler tendancies.
In the past, before his big break, he was a rather playful ler to his little siblings. They grew up in a blink of an eye almost literally, their markets booming so fast they grew twice his size in weeks. He would still tickle them even after they grew up, back when they were all close, but he could only target one at a time, and retaliation was garunteed. Aside from the sweet stuff, Spamton has an ego in all stages of his life. He's incredibly insecure, but he puts up a front at all times, and that "fake it til ya make it" energy fuels him. Always has, always will. He absolutely will put up a fight and isn't afraid to initiate if he feels scorned by someone he's close to. He has a tendency to crash out, but when he knows that's what they want, he'll quickly shift to a grin as he plots the easiest way to catch his future lee off guard. He's absolutely a climber and will crawl on a lee to get into position, absolutely making it tickle on purpose. His little fingers can do some serious damage and can wiggle into clamped areas like under arms and behind the knees and in the crook of the neck quite easily. If he's really pissed or up against a seriously big or skilled opponent, he will spawn an army of Spamlings to even the odds. The little copies use the same techniques, just on a miniature scale.
the Addisons- they're technically his little brothers but he quickly became the little one.... Physically. He's 15 years older than them so he still has to play his part as the bully big brother somehow. Blue thinks it's a little fun when Spamton gets him, Orange finds it kind of annoying, Yellow immediately makes it a tickle fight, and Pink... Pink destroys Spamton the second he even tries. Pink does not like it.
Tenna - the TV host was far too mischievous and occasionally glooby to NOT target when the opportunity arised. Spamton would retaliate everytime tickles were initiated. And when Tenna would get trapped in his own head, Spamton knew how to safely pull him out of it. Tenna has never actually allowed himself to be so vulnerable with another darkner before so Spamton had the rare privilege of tickling the king and he certainly didn't waste it.
Jevil: purely retaliation. 100%. It's the one game he actually can win against him by some miracle. Cheating or not, it's war, and all's fair.
Spamton is a lee in denial. He will never EVER say it out loud. EVER. He's too good for that, something so ridiculous so silly so... Not big shot... He's not afraid to say the word at least, mostly because it doesn't fluster him, no. No, it's a rather deep reason he's a lee.
After years of rejection by lightners, constantly being ignored or thrown in the recycling bin, Spamton's ego wasn't the only thing on the struggle bus. As an ad, it's his job to be cute and appealing, lovable. That's part of the charm, getting the clicks. After being rejected so regularly, the poor guy was questioning if the inbox system was the only reason he was struggling so much. He developed a severe insecurity about his cuteness factor, the key to his marketability, tricking himself into believing the problem was something he had more control over rather than the reality that it was just the nature of the system itself. For a long time he suffered with that alone, but after his brothers were developed, he finally had Darkners willing to associate with him instead of shun him because of his spamware. The first time he was tickled, they had ganged up him after getting big enough to do so. They tickled him and teased him like he used to do to them. He LOVED it. He kept that to himself, but he'd never felt so cared for and adored in his LIFE. He felt cute, marketable... And worthy of attention... He craved it deep down ever since. Tickles=love. Over time, his siblings accidentally concreted that in Spamton. After rough days and low self esteem moments, they always came in clutch to cheer him up. He always got the boost he needed, his doubts and insecurities would wash away long enough to give him a rest.
He never outgrew that. As a big shot, the insecurity followed him too. No matter how much the clicks rolled in, he'd still look in the mirror sometimes and question if it's just his luck doing that, thinking he was tricking himself into believeing he was appealing enough to be an ad on his own. Tenna never caught onto that, Spamton was good at hiding it, but oh boy. Tenna was a tickle monster all on his own, always looking to make his mailman smile. Spamton complained outwardly, but internally he loved the boosts it gave him. Spamton would be annoying and sassy on purpose just to provoke the TV host. Worked like a charm. After his brothers cut him off, it became a life line for a bit honestly. Tenna obviously didn't mind filling in the void there.
In his post-big shot era, Spamton is far far FAR more insecure about his appearance, and doesn't believe for a second cute is a word that could ever describe him again. His marketability is in the literal gutter. He goes ham on the persona more than ever to make up for it. His cravings get really really bad now, especially since he hasn't had family or a friend hug, let alone tickle him in a long time. It's like the old days again, but this time he has the pain of knowing what he's missing. In comes Jevil. His pocket rival. He hates that clown, and is honestly terrified of him.... But... The joker is more than happy to supply Spamton's dopamine hits. And worse(better) yet, one time Jevil's psychological teases hit the nail on the head of Spamtons secret internal struggle so accurately that Spamton melted. He felt so called out, and he actually felt cute and marketable for a moment. Jevil noticed. He's used that angle ever since. Spamton wants to hate it, but really he hates that he loves it. Jevil finds it entertaining, but a small part of him almost does it out of pity.... Almost. Spamton doesn't care, he needs it.
SO, WITH THE DEETS OUT OF THE WAY
As a lee, Spamton is very sassy when he's in a mood, otherwise, when he's spiraling, that's a good time to pull him back from the brink. He is VERY ticklish even as a puppet. That transfered with his soul I guess. A permanent trait. He's very squirmy, it's only slightly on purpose to not let his ler know he loves it, the rest is genuinely his reflexes. This little man is not afraid of the word and will absolutely say it while he's being tickled to up his cuteness factor and make his ler comment on it. Mostly saying he's so ticklish or something tickles. Usually gets his ler to tease him more. Conniving little bastard. He's also air ticklish. Wiggling your fingers at him makes him gasp and get all nervous and the closer those fingers get, the more he giggles and starts trying to negotiate. He prefers being held when he's tickled but that's just a preference. Again, his brothers practically set the standard for what he prefers. Being held and tickled and teased and trapped in a cuddle puddle afterwards. Which embarrassingly enough, makes him naturally inclined to not run from his ler afterwards, but rather not move at all, hoping to enjoy the safety and affection even longer. He thinks he's slick. The Addisons would gladly cuddle him, he's fallen asleep on Tenna's lap a handful of times and Jevil... Once, only once, Spamton held Jevil's tail on instinct afterwards and the imp let him. Now Jevil just let's Spamton borrow his cape for a bit. They don't talk about it.
Belly- he will burst into a bubbly version of his cackle when his tummy is tickled. His navel is definitely a weak point and raspberries are incredibly effective (and welcomed)
Armpits- he will fully cackle that salesman laugh and his reflexes make him curl up in a ball
Back of the knees- unholy screeching
the Addisons- they aren't shy in tickling him on their own or as a group. He's easy to pick up and toss around so nabbing the twerp for tickle time is a breeze. Pink is the meanest, but even he doesn't get rough with it, he's just less engaged in the process and more focused on making the brat cackle. The other three are much more engaged in making it a game. Spamton is always toast when they all team up.
Tenna- The big man is a menace but even when he's being an ass he's still playful about it. He's in it for the laughs and smiles after all. The guy might be an airwavehead at times but he absolutely caught on that Spamton would be sassy, fully knowing the consequences as well as Spamton not crawling away the second he was let go each time. He connected the dots from there. Tenna loved the drama of Spamton thinking Tenna didn't know. The suspense was intoxicating so he never told the mailman he knew he loved it. Tenna loved it too so he was more than happy to indulge him. He thought of maybe using it as blackmail someday, but the thought of anyone else knowing such privileged info made him toss the idea.
Jevil- absolute unapologetic menace. Far too good at it. Far too happy to do it. Will pounced at random. Doesn't understand the concept of mercy, just boredom. Spamton's lucky he's got high endurance or he'd probably sleep for a hundred years himself at this point.
