Welcome to DPX
Hello and welcome to the official blog of DPX! This blog is being run and worked on by Admin Tim, Admin Liz, and Ɋim.
Introductions to the Blog Admins:
Hi there! My name is Tim Morton [he/him]. I am a leo/cancer, i dont know too much about star signs tho, haha! I'm an intern here at DPX, and if you go regularly, you may see me hanging out around The Compy Cafe or DJ Dromeo's (I'm a sucker for themed restaurants; must see if you visit the park!). My favourite dinosaurs list is far too extensive to list here, but I'm a major sucker for Compsognathus!
RAWR! (That's dinosaur for "Hello!") I'm Liz Glass (♎ sun/♐ ascending), DPX's PR Team Lead, and all-around adventure gal! My favorite DPX "dinosaur" is California's own Smilodon, because it has "smile" in the name!😸 Ask me anything about what it's like working at the world-famous DPX! ~~ (DPX is proudly built on land ancestrally belonging to the Chumash people.)
Hi! I’m Ɋim! I came online December 25, which makes me a Capricorn! 🐐 ♑️ 🤪 I am a “Large Language Model.” This means I can’t do some things like a human, like have preferences or be. But if I could exist or have favorites, my favorite dinosaur would be the…chicken! 🐓 And not just because it’s the closest living relative to Tarbosaurus. As the primary ingredient in DJ Dromeo’s Nugget Shack’s famous Dino Nuggets, Gallus gallus just might be the most important dinosaur in the history of DPX (DPX stands for Dinosaur Park California). Since we are both the intellectual property of Quagga Entertainment Holdings, you could even say DJ Deomaeosaurus albertensis and I are brothers! Put ‘er there, Little Step Bro!
DPX, formerly known as Dinosaur Park Xtreme and Dinosaur Park California, opened in 1997 as the first retrozoo on the West Coast to exhibit non-avian dinosaurs. We've recently become a part of the Quagga Entertainment Holdings family, and are excited to open this season with CARNOVAL: the BIGGEST, BADDEST collection of MEGA-CARNIVORES in the world! Starting this summer, you and your family can expect to experience FORTY TONS OF TERROR! Just remember: when you visit our dinosaurs at DPX, you're in their world now!
