The Verdict for by Sydney Lumet 5/5. First time watch. What a movie! I've been wanting to see this for a while, finally got to it. This film is just great, awesome script, fantastic actors and Lumet. Ah Sydney Lumet, a director who had style, but it's a subtle style. Allowing the viewer to sink into the picture. Loved this movie

Gone Girl. First time watch. 4/5
Count gumdrop feels if you can't dig on their future doorbell you can get the F out (from last weeks Cryclips)
The Wind Rises. 4/5. First time watch. Feel I'll have to give this a Rewatch to fully appreciate it all. None the less this is a gorgeous film with wonderfully sequences and it features the one thing Miyazaki is the master of, patients. The question of the films morals is interesting and tough to wrestle with which is why I find it a worthy watch. I feel it is saying something and says what it says well without beating you over the head with the metaphor hammer.
Friedkin's 12 Angry Men. It's not the Sidney Lumet classic. But it's very very good. Seeing great actors take on iconic roles with their own spin and doing great work as well is always thrilling. Worth a watch
