there was no reaction from indy at the other females’ words before she hummed lightly. ❝ oh, are you a mind reader now? ❞ she questioned and tilted her head before she pressed her lips into a thin line. ❝ never really thought of that of you and your people, so please don’t put words in my mouth. ❞ she stated and inhaled deeply, folding her arms over her chest as she shifted her weight from one foot to the other. ❝ we’re just like all of you, trying to survive. but your men threatened a couple of my group members if they didn’t hand over their shit. so it was self defense because one of them got stabbed in the shoulder by one of them because they refused to play by the rules of the saviors. ❞ she exclaimed and a sigh fell past her lips. ❝ wouldn’t you be like that too? now, if the roles were reversed and we threatened to take your shit or kill you if you don’t cooperate, wouldn’t you be trying to defend yourself and fight to keep your shit? ❞
