my depiction of juri consistently has a fucked up left eye. the surgery for her fse left her with immense amounts of pain and trouble. every now and again, the engine in place shocks her, makes her vision blurred, or worse. for my portrayal, it’s what keeps juri’s motives on track. it serves as a reminder of her history with sin, even if she becomes tangent about it in her motives moving forward. even with the “improved one”, juri still experienced pain due to her prosthetic. and with the one she finds after bison defeats her, seeing as it’s likely not as “advanced” as previous engines, it’s the same. nothing will change this for me. prosthetics are often uncomfortable and challenging to deal with, and my impaired bae isn’t going to have a magical fix to this any time soon.
