The Final Blog

Before the demo day , After all the struggles and problems our group encountered, thanks to God we are still friends. There are misunderstandings but we handled all of that professionally. We accept our mistakes and listen to each other. And During the demo day, it was really nervous because of panel and classmate are listening of our platform then we were glad we do our best in the front.

As what I have mentioned on the last blog, we already launched our website its sgift.store. We uploaded the products of our partnered stores in our website, we acquired six partnered shops, seven customers and a revenue of more than three hundred pesos.

Finally, the most awaited day has come. We are all busy preparing for the Demo Day. Each one of us has own task to do. The pitch of Dimryl and demo of John Daniel went well. We answered all the questions and defend our answers to the panel. We were glad that we were able to experience this startup at the early age. And also learn more about talking to stranger because im shy type person .

Technoprenuership is near to end but we CRITCE decided to continue this business. We will continue to promote our platforms. Also, we will make this business more effective. So many great memories this subject brought to us. Thank you to my team! And of course, to Sir BGM who let us experienced this entire journey. My name is John Marvin A. Week15 Blog:

We failed to launched our website two weeks ago because there are some difficulties regarding the website. We were having hard time fixing out the website. Yet, we did not waste any time and we are still looking some potencial partner stores.

Finally, our website had been launched last week and we have found some stores that are willing to be our partner. And we got some approval from them to post on social media their products.

After launching the website, we tested it again and we found out that there are some issues again in the website we are making. But we are currently fixing the issues so that on the demo day we will not be thinking about those problems.

Through all these happening we have realized that even though problems are along way patience, hardwork and teamwork is a must to a a team to have a successful outcome of something.

Week 14 Blog;

This is my 14 week of blog, and we are still fixing the website and it is not yet launched up to this time. We have bought already a server and some stuffs that is needed for the website to run in the internet. And since we are waiting for the website to be fully ready we managed our time well by thinking of the things that we might add to our website

. We have also agreed together with my group that we must add some stuff like a couple watch or something. This week we have a short report showing functionality and the progress of our website. And I think they were all amaze of the idea we have. By the trials and difficulties we had through this project I can say that our bond as ateam have grown as to extent that we can easily open up with our different ideas as a team.

Though through this project we cant avoid struggles, hardship, and challenges but I believe that this is just the a test, a test for us to become a better team and a better version of ourselves. I can see that group work is not easy but this is just a stepping stone for us in the future.

We might misunderstand each other sometimes but we still managed to do our part as a team and as a student. And by this hardships I see that we have build a better relationship towards the group.

Week13 : Blog

This is my 13 week, unfortunately we haven't launched our website yet because of some techincal problems. And that our group is very busy fixing out those problems in the website. We also agreed that we are going to use the same server.

That's why we after also to the other group. And after all of it we will then launch our website. While doing the fixing and everything some on us were assign to look for a jewelry shop here in Cagayan de Oro.

We are having hard time looking for those shop because we haven't found any shop here in our town most of them are in Visayas specifically in Cebu. Though our website is not as active as today, but we are still advertising on social media so that our website will be known

. Since the upcoming event now is the graduation we are yet preparing for it. Our next task is that we will be looking out for some partner stores for other customers who would want better choices of gifts.

“Weekly Blog 12″

This is our weekly blog, which is week 12 of my blog. An update for this week is that we haven't launch the website yet but we did commercials of facebook page so that our customers will be able to gain profit and at the same time they will know our website. So far, the advertisement through facebook went well because we have a few customers that week and that was on Valentines Day.

And then for the website we haven't launch yet because of some technical problems that we're trying to solve for us to effectively launch the website next week. Everything is okay even the products that we are offering are ready for the customers to choose. About the experience on that Valentines Day we have a six customer four of them were students and the two are professionals.

We just used the facebook page and contact number to communicate the user to be received by our receiver. The process of delivering and the feedback through our customers went well and we've gained more than 500 pesos that day.

For this coming week we have just solved some of the problem regarding the website. We have just validate users and some potential partners for the project. Even though we struggled very hard because of the things that we need to do for the project but still we manage these things to be in place so that the outcome of the project that we're doing would all went okay.

TECHNO WEEKLY BLOG

This is our 11 week of blog, for our update for this week is we have validated those businesses that is can connect to the upcoming event which is the valentines day. So that we will be able to try our website, as for now we have contact the cake and flower shop and etc.

And for the delivery we only cater those who are in lapasan, divisoria and malls along the city because we are still starting up and we are just testing those products. And for the delivery boy we agreed that we will be the one who will deliver the products to the customers.

Also for the mode of payment it will be meet up first for the payment then we will be the one who will ensure that the suprise from the customer to receiver will be given in the way that customer or receiver will be satisfied. An additional update for this week is that everything is okay and moving smoothly including the validation of the products.

For.my groups validation we are all working out for the website for the upcoming launching. Though the struggles and misunderstanding are still there we still mananged to stay focus on our project and making sure of it that we can launch it without any problems occurring.

Weekly Blog - Update

For this weeks update since valentines day is fast approaching theres this one partner store who approved and validate about the partnership. Yet we validate more users also about our project. And now our team is getting busy for the incoming next week for launching of the project.

About the buying of the items we have a admin to monitor for it and for us to have proper accomodation of customers. So we focus on the upcoming event which is valentines day because we are sure that many businesses would love to advertise and aside from that we can test the site for the incoming launching of our application.

Also we decided to have that the mode of payment is Cash on Delivery of we all know as "COD" we also made trademark foe our products. And still we continue finding more partner store for this week that is somehow connected to valentines day.

Addition to the update for our site is that we partner a flower shop that is in the other group so by that it would be less hassle for us. And also for them to market their product using our site. Thats just what we did for the week because we are getting ready for the launching of the site next week.

#UPDATE

Week 9 Blog- Sgift update

This is the 9 week of my blog, for this week the first thing we did is that we always met to get ready for the day of pitching. We always do practice for us to get ready so that we will be able to present the project. We also get busy doing website and database so that there is something we can present for the demo that is nice and clear.

On the day of pitching, we all got excited and at the same time nervous because of the panel and the audience. Though standing in front of the crowd is not easy but we still managed to present it well so that the reault of the pitching would be good enough for our grade. Yet, we didnt fail to present it because we have a good result for pitching and after the pitching we have some small celebration for the success of our presentation. And that we are thankful to our sir and to the panels.

After that day we try continue solving the problem about the panel's concern. Though we doesnt have enough time for our meeting we try to fix everything so that we will be able to finish everything on time and for the coming midterm we will just focus on the exam. That we dont need to think about anything on the examination day.

My concerns about the project is that we still lack the validations of the product because of the small amount of time that is alloted because of the midterm exam. But we ensure that after midterm we will finish the validations on time.

Week 8 BLOG- Sgift

Week 8 of blog, what we have done for this week is that we have validated our application. Atleast an eight person everyweek to validate. And an update about the project is that we are currently at the front page of our website and its design. And we are dividing the task where we can assure that each one of us has a task to do.

Now, our team still cannot decide yet on what is the final look for our website. There where lot of ideas bring suggested but we cannot finalize it. We where still discussing regarding the flow, the payment, and everything.

We really had hard times thinking about how to solve the problem we have about the project but we are determine enough to really work on it to solve that problem. Though we still have a lot of project to be pass we managed to balance everything in order for us to finish the website.

And about the valivadtion, we asked every person about if they're going to give someone a give it would be a hassle for them, if they have enough time for it and also the budget for the gift. We also asked them if in what way do they like it to be in online payment or meet up.

Week 7 Blog

First week of this year is awesome for us because we got to know that our proposal was approved. It's a great news and blessing not just for me but for the rest of the group. Because we all know that our proposal last year was not easy. All the tiresome and effort are all paid off. And it was a great start of the year.

We are planning for next week to make the application using android studio. First thing that we need to do is to login and registion to know as a database who are those who login to the our application for this week.

As for now, we are currently working as a team to finish the things that we need to do as soon as possible. We've come to finish the login and design for the application. So that by next meeting we have something to present and give updates for the application.

I know making this project was not easy. And even though there are lots of arguements along the way im still thankful for my group for the reason that they really give their effort, time and best towards the project. And if I were to rate my team it would be 99% because we all did our best and our part in making this project possible.

Week #6 Cpe4A

Lastly, this aims to help ‘secret admirers’ to send gifts for their special someone anonymously. This week, we validated our ideas by interviewing some people. We interviewed at least 10 people so far. My team and I asked if it is really a problem on finding gift ideas and buying it, most of them said yes. We asked follow up questions regarding that matter and then provide them our solution which is the sGift Mobile Application. Asking all of them if such application exists, are they willing to use it? Luckily, all of them answered yes and willing to pay for the delivery fee which is more or less 250 pesos.

Recently, we proposed a surprise gift mobile application wherein the user can send gifts to a particular person without going to mall or shop at online store. The application aims to solve the problem of people who do not have time to shop for gifts especially those people who are workaholic. Also, it aims to help introverts people who are having a hard time talking to other people with regards to gift ideas and buying it.

With regards to partnered stores, we talk to some store owners here in Cagayan de oro presenting them our proposal. Three of store owners agreed that we are going to feature their products on our shop. One of them has a physical store while the rest depends on online selling.

In life, you need to take all the advices given to you in order to grow. You need validation in every ideas you are going to create. Assumptions is okay but in this field it is not advisable to assume things based on what we have seen. Basically, validate everything before you begin on your journey.

Week 5 Blog:

This is the 5th week of the project and basically the busiest week so far. Because everyday after classes we always proceed on meeting and interviewing. Practically to aim our main goal for the week and that is for the approval of our proposal.

Last Thursday, December 13 we had a proposal for the project and we are kind of nervous because of what would be the outcome. But fortunately, we are very happy for it because 90% of the proposal was accepted by our instructor.

After the class we proceed interviewing and validation for user. We validated 8 students and professionals, so that hopefully by next week our proposal will be approve. By next day our main target is a store for the product of our application for the project. And an additional update for the validation is we are able to get more nice and good comments from users and professionals. We are very happy for it because we really all did our part for the project and we all worked hard for it. A feeling of accomplishment I would say.

Last saturday was the last day of our validation for a store and by now we are able to complete the said validation for users and stores. And now we are ready for monday's proposal and approval for the project. Still hoping that the proposal for the project will be approve.

Week #4 Blog Cpe4a

This is the 4th week and basically the busiest week so far. Week with full of interviews of technician and users. During the validation of the project we got rejected by others but have more nice feedback to the project that they like the idea of it and that they are willling to be our partner because it will help them gaining more profit on their business.

November 6, 2018, thursday we had a business model about our projects. There different groups presented there business model and strategies. I personally witnessed various project and I was amazed about other groups ideas and at the same time through that presentation our group also gained knowledge on how to improve and innovate our project.

After our class we immediately goes on interviewing again for the validation of our project. Since interviewing is not easy we also got to be rejected in some ways. But we understand and we need to understand it because it is also part of the process of this project. This week is indeed very tough for us since we are still working on the project and we also need a lot of time and effort to make things work out for the project.

That's what we do for the whole week and now we are preparing for the things that we need to do for next week. Very busy yet fruitful for the fact that we got to work on for the project and the the same time enhance our teamwork. Hopefully, we can get validated for the project so that our proposal will be accepted.

TECH101 - 3rd week.

Last week we had a meeting with my groupmates about the project that we are going to proposed. We have three ideas and we agreed that the one to be presented were the one with in line with the services. Since we lack about the validation, we were told to interview more for the idea of the said project.

And since interviewing people are not that easy we need to have more courage and good communication skills to really get the information that we need for the project. Yes, we get rejected many times but we understand that because it is also part of the hardships of the project.

Fortunately, upon the interviewing process we came to interview this one store that really supported our project that he is willing to make partner with us if the said project would be successful.

During those times we also learned a lot not just about the information needed for the project but we also learned that times is really gold. We should not waste time and that we should make use of our free time for us to do the project better.

Week 2 blog: Innovation During the innovation forum last thursday at Luxe Hotel gaves me knowlegde about how business should work and at the same time motivates me in really planning well for the said project that we need to do. There we learned new things and discover what was the world of business all about. What were the strategies needed and how to make it a successful one. And because of those speeches that Ive heard, I realized even more that even those people make it to the top so do I. we just need to be more patient and hard working. We really had difficulties on how to start up for the project that we need to do. And by the help of that innovation forum we are inspired even more to think really well for the project. That we should always think about the customers want and customers satisfactory, not just for the sake that we like it to be. Innovation is indeed a must for a business to grow. And along the process there will always be a failures to be encountered and that would be a room for us to learn and be more wiser in the long run. What matters most is that if we fall down, we should always stand and recover for us to be more efficient.

Ideation and team formation

During the picking of groups I really had hard time choosing who to enter groups with, then I found some of my classmates that also have no groups. And I think that they can be trusted and very hardworking when it comes in doing the project. So we decided to combined as one group. Steve Jobs once said that great things in business are never done by one person. They're done by a team of people. Though we all know that we are not as good as any other group but I have that trust in my self and so as to my groupmates that we can do the project succesfully. So we will work together as one. Our very goal as a team is that we could able produce a very nice and interesting project that can persuade our future client. Yes, we all have tough times thinking about what project we should do, I am also thankful to my groupmates because they were very active in the meetings and very on hands thinking of how to start up the project. Since we have different hobbies and interest maybe we can work on it to have a very nice brainstorming to achieve a successful project.
