I’m seeing so many asshats on my FB judging people for playing Pokémon Go so fervently.

One of the literal phrases I’ve seen:

“You’ll miss real world with your face shoved in your phone all day.”

Well EXCUSE ME Janet, but I’ve seen TWO insanely beautiful sunsets in the past two days, and walked over TEN miles. I got out of my makeshift bed on the couch, put on tennis shoes, drove into town, and met people. I’ve had innumerable positive social interactions with complete strangers in the past two days.

This game has gotten my face out of Netflix, and my butt out in the ‘real world’ you so highly speak of, for the first time in ages.

So go get sloppy wasted on mom wine and mind your own business- Pokémon go is one of the best things to ever happen to a nerd with depression.
