Just a heads up that ive been going through my followers to be rid of bots and suspiscious folk so if i mistakenly removed you i appologise in advance. No ill will intended, just trying to do a safe cleanup.

As far as the blog revovation goes, you may have seen me finally tackling designs on my main lately, so im getting there one step at a time. I do currently face an issue of whether i want this to remain a traditional ask blog or if i want to take this in another direction such as a comic that people can occasionally interact with.

Progress is slow, but still going.

Currently my goals are to complete all level designs. (Well, Debating 2 of them. They might not be featured due to being easter eggs? Refrences? Its complicated.) The current count of designs is roughly half done with designs including alternate forms, but some need to be redone or finished. I am also changing things in the way of worldbuilding, so a couple factors make more plausible sense. (ex. If all shapes break into shards upon death, then how can hunting and fishing work if meat really isnt a thing? How would more "carnivorious" shapes exist?) Thats one of the reasons its taking awhile.

Theres also the matter in which I am debating on wether or not i keep this as an askblog, or change it to be something more interactive.

I figured that the silence surrounding this blog during its renovation is concerning people, so i'd figured i'd give a little update! Thats all! Stay safe during the wait!

I've made a decision in the face of the fact im not really motivated to work on the ask blog after alot of recent drama in this fandom within the past few months. Due to emotional strife and such, i havent felt satisfied with how i've handled beats and geometry as a side effect.

Thus, I announce that I will be restarting beats and geometry, with the goal to be more lore orientated. I'll be using a clean slate in terms of bios and such, but for now the old ones can stay.

Alright, gonna be real with yall.

Im getting tired of this. Particularly because i’m not the only one being harassed about it, and because its misinformation that has spread fandom-wide.

Blixer is not the characters canon name. It never was and never will be. The devs have stated multiple times that the characters have no names, and that they are left to interpretation.

The reason I bring this up is because of these:

Im not the only one who had to deal with these asks that insist what is simply false. You have the freedom to name your interpretation of the characters whatever you please, but you do not have the right to force other people to adhere to what you believe.

Blixer originally came from @plushiegoo, whom used it to refer to their version of new fresh pretty early on in the fandom. I was there when that first post was made. They have since stated that they are chill with it, but that doesnt change the fact they had the name first.

I believe this all started when an anon spread rumors among ask blogs that blixer was announced as the canon name. Almost 2 months or so after the games release. It spread ever since across not just tumblr, but other social media as well.

I chose Bigby because not only did I felt that it fit well, but that it has plot and meaning surrounding it in my interpretation of the lore. I will not change his name because someone insisted it was wrong. I understand that many people have joined this fandom since then, so I understand that many of you might have not known. There is nothing wrong with naming them blixer. There is something wrong with claiming others are wrong when you dont have all the evidence yourself.

Ok, here we are on the timeline of the fandom, and I have to say this.

Stop the harassment over this name. 

No joke! I’m really flattered that people even LIKE the name! But harassing people over it!? NO! BLIXER is just a name I randomly came up with from the top of my head because I had to call him SOMETHING. Now there is name chaos in the fandom all because of this random name I thought of!! IT’S EVEN THE SAME NAME AS A F*CKING BLENDER. Ok, I’m sorry, I had to put that fact out there…

You can name the main boss of JS&B whatever you want, heck, you can even give him the name I thought of! I won’t mind for the most part! But if you’re going to harass people because of his F*CKING NAME.
