“The stars…” Serenity’s face grew to a wide smile, and she nodded eagerly. “Yes, let’s go! I’ll never get enough of looking at stars! They’re all so pretty..!”

She nodded. “I agree. They’re a bit cold at times, and they did go too far with this. Although, the humans did indirectly destroy their planet. When the rift destabilized, it destroyed the atmosphere and upset the climate in the process. Still, I think they could’ve coexisted peacefully here.”

“…What would you do if you ever met one?” She added softly.

“Yeah.. it’s sad thinking about what could’ve been,” she sighed. “They both messed up, huh.. No real right or wrong side.”

It took Serenity a moment to reply. She really hadn’t thought of it before... 

“If I.. met one? ..It’d be a little bit scary, I think.. but I guess it’d depend on who it was, y’know? If they had bad intentions, I don’t really know. They’re really big and could probably kill me. Very easily. Break me beyond repair. I think it’d be a little scary unless they were super nice.”

Natrixa was silent for a few minutes, wispy light blonde hair blowing just a bit in the cool night breeze. She gazed up at the sky, with a bit of a strange expression on her features.

“…What’s your opinion on the Xaratröp, honestly?”

Serenity glanced over, away from the stars, just for a moment, before her gaze turned back up.

“I don’t particularly like them. I really had wanted to see how humans lived. I really didn’t get much of a chance to see how things were. So, I’m sort of bitter about that, I suppose. But humans kind of started the whole ordeal, so I can’t quite blame the Xaratröp for it. I guess the humans are to blame, but.. I feel like they did go a little far.. I don’t feel like we were much of a threat in the first place.”

Plump lips curved into a slight smile, she rested a hand on her hip. “Well, if you’d like to come with us, you’re perfectly welcome. You’re an android, after all. Meaning we won’t really need any extra supplies.”

“They just… Don’t understand. They’re idiots, honestly.” She frowned, brows knitting together. “And every time a wild Scuttler wanders too close in search of food, or a private on watch shoots at a lone Strider and loses a limb, it only makes the humans more determined.”

“Yeah… A bit intimidating, considering our small size, especially.”

✖_✖ : Reports of demonic activity brings our muses to their location and after hours of no evidence, they finally discover a hidden room where what appears to be old blood and animal bones litter the floor. (8)
