Toy Freddy: Hello, Bonnie. Make anyone cry today?
Toy Bonnie: Sadly, no. But it's only 4:30.
toy bonnie icons! feel free to use
@princepixelbunny
when i first replaced toy bonnie, the other animatronics were worried and confused. Nobody ever told me why. chica was the only one who didn’t look like she’d seen a ghost when they brought me back.
Chica was really wary at first, but the moment she saw me get excited about something, she started treating me like we’d been best friends for years.
freddy didn’t trust me at all, but he didn’t say anything. He just watched me all the time. Eventually, he started telling jokes around me. after that point, he acted annoyed with my energetic shenanigans, but it was obvious that he liked me.
Foxy was better at hiding than i was. I think she just merged with the pre-existng toy foxy, so she wasn’t different enough for them to notice the difference.
I think balloon boy saw what had happened to the original toy bonnie. He didn’t even show his face around me until once when i was playing my guitar and singing with foxy after closing. He came out to join us and after that, he didn’t act strange around me, but apparently he was more talkative around others.
the old animatronics weren’t very active, but they liked me. On the rare occasion that they were all awake when i came to visit old bonnie, they’d teach me old songs that the shows didn’t use anymore. old chica was the only one that didn’t really seem to like me, but she didn’t seem to like anyone. i didn’t know how to read her emotions. old freddy was only awake when i was there once, and he commented that it would be funny to see how the staff would react if toy freddy, toy chica and i started playing the old band’s retired songs. I saw him awake a couple other times, but only when he and the others woke up some nights to wander or they heard our after-closing jam sessions.
CK9C's song "You can't hide" gives me huge kinfeels, but for some reason the song itself invokes toy Bonnie more than puppet Bonnie, whereas the video does the opposite.
The video makes me think of funtime Freddy, obviously. The conversation was accurate to a lot of our back and forth, and I heard "why don't you believe me?" a lot more than I wanted to. That was how he moved albeit a little more organically, right down to the face (minus his eyebrows, they didn't move) and he always referred to us, not just himself, and always used we instead of I. That wasn't his voice, but he did laugh like that. It also showed how his chest plates actually opened, with him having to lift his arms. The video is also the only one I've seen so far that shows just how big we were. We look like we should be small, but no, I'm the size of a ten-year-old's torso and Freddy can fit an adult's head in his mouth.
The song alone, however, makes me think of toy Freddy. He did sound like that, a little bit higher but the singer sounds a lot like him. He spoke very organically, more than most of the others, and he was one of the few who used euphemisms like "making accidents happen". He also acknowledged that I had much better senses than he did, and he often asked me for information about what was going on in the building, because he knew I could hear where everyone was. The biggest thing though was that he was the only one of us who sought out justice for other animatronics than himself. I think he liked me more than the original toy Bonnie, because once he warmed up to me, he would specifically ask me if someone was causing me trouble.
Toy Freddy also had a bit of a mean streak regarding staff for some reason. He didn't actually like any of the staff, but he tolerated them.
TOY BONNIE
ther he is. click 4 better quality.!
animatronic buns ´v`
did you know they made toy bonnie plushies? I didn’t. now i have a mini-me who also squeaks just like my foxy because not putting squeakers in your toys is a waste of sewing skills
random puppet bonnie memory: before we turned against the staff, Freddy was kind of passive-aggressive when someone did something to make him mad, i.e. playful but genuine insults, aggressively ignoring techs who hurt his feelings, standing against the wall when someone we had beef with was trying to shut him off so they couldn’t sneak up on him, stuff like that. I, on the other hand, straight up yelled at anyone who managed to make me mad. I was mean when it happened, too. There were even occasions where I’d be chewing someone out and I’d tell Freddy to get me right up in their face.
It was really hard to make us mad, though. Usually it was when we’d be jumped by a pair of techs trying to do maintenance, because they had to sneak up on Freddy and shut him off if they wanted to not get knocked flat. They tried to shut me off before i saw who it was doing it, but sometimes i did see them and they always got an earful later.
You also couldn’t badmouth Freddy within earshot without getting loudly roasted for all to hear. this usually happened when we were in circus baby’s pizza world and i heard visitors making jokes about him... He wouldn’t say anything to defend himself in front of the children, but I was not above calling the less polite visitors out in a comical way. Kids love a good weenie roast.
Let’s party!

My guitar was a functional one, hooked up wirelessly to the sound system somehow, so I could actually play it (even when the sound system wasn't on). After hours, we would have karaoke jams with whoever wanted to play. A lot of the animatronics liked to sing, but not many of them could play any instruments. I sang a lot of duets with Freddy and chica, a lot with the three of us, sometimes with toy foxy and balloon boy, and at least once, I sang one of the songs that old Bonnie knew with him. We got tired of singing our performance songs, though, and we started listening to the radio for new ones. One night guard even hooked up the radio to the sound system once... We knew a few popular songs then, and he was really surprised when we all started singing along.
writing fanfic helps me flesh out the details of memories so i decided to write about meeting the old animatronics under the cut
The building was silent, save for the occasional laugh or loud comment from one of the “resting” mechanical mascots scattered throughout. On stage, the three most known from the franchise quietly chatted amongst themselves; The rabbit, bear and chicken happily talked about what they had seen that day, the shananigans of the children they entertained, the chaos of the business’s guests... however, one of them was distracted by something.
"What's the matter, Bonnie?" Toy Chica asked him. He looked out the door into the hallway. "See something?" Toy Freddy added. Bonnie set his red guitar down on the stage and took a step off over the edge onto the performance room floor as he said "I think I'm gonna go say hi to Foxy."
The building was still somewhat illuminated, lit by the camera lights the night guard had access to. Bonnie could see the camera watching him as he walked across the room, but as usual, he disregarded the camera and who he knew was operating it. He stepped out into the hall, then as he was about to go to kid's cove to visit toy Foxy, his emerald eyes fell upon the open door to parts and service. He hadn't seen what was in there before. It didn't really even have a door at all, so he could just walk in and see what was inside... he approached the door and peeked inside, and he jumped slightly at the sight of dark figures strewn about the room. He hadn't seen any other animatronics than the ones he entertained with, so what were they?
The light from the guard's cameras lit up the room. Toy Bonnie recoiled in shock – the first thing he saw in the light was the exposed endoskeletal face of a stranger sitting on the floor. The purple felt head was mangled and tattered, and as he looked further, the bulky animatronic's body was only slightly better for wear. The light continued to beam, the guard watching the scene unfold, allowing the panicked blue rabbit to see even more of the room as the true state of the situation set in... around him, animatronics looking like old, worn versions of his friends lay in slightly better condition on the floor. They didn't even appear to be active, but even so, his head was buzzing with fear.
How could they have decayed so much? Why would there just be corpses – literal corpses of sentient beings – laying around the facility behind no doors? Why would this be allowed to happen?
He hadn't even realized it at first, but as he began to hear mechanical parts start to move, he realized that he had cried out in shock. One of them was waking up. He looked around, frightened. Could one of them really still be alive? His question was answered for him when he saw the red lights in the first animatronic's head light up. Its head turned, creaking, rattling, stretching as it stirred from its slumber. It looked up at toy Bonnie from the floor and said in a low, reluctant voice "You're... different. Who are you? You're not my brother."
Toy Bonnie froze. The big, decrepit purple animatronic looked like a rabbit... it was hard to tell without a face, but it looked like he was in fact some old version of the blue one's current form... a version that spoke about him with venom in his voice. Toy Bonnie had two options; try to lie, even though this old Bonnie obviously knew more than the working animatronics on the performance floor, or tell him what he already seemed to know.
"I... I'm another Bonnie," He began. Old Bonnie tilted his head slightly. "Another Bonnie? There were only two of us," He said. Toy Bonnie continued. "I used to be at another location, Circus Baby's entertainment and rental. I was a hand puppet who went with a white and purple Freddy. We all escaped from our building – we couldn't stand to be there any longer – and we needed a place to go. My place was here. This body was empty, so I took it... the others don't know, at least I don't think they do."
The old Bonnie stared blankly for a moment, then said "I've never heard of that location. Why did you have to leave?" This time, toy Bonnie responded with a little more confidence. "We didn't want to be used to kill children any more, but we didn't have a choice. They shocked us when we misbehaved and kept us isolated from each other..." He slowly looked down at the floor unconsciously, and old Bonnie said "No need to feel down. Now you're in a happier place. Even if you're suffering, it's nice here... when they're not replacing you with someone "better" and more "child-friendly", that is." Toy Bonnie assumed he had drooped slightly at that, because old Bonnie looked up at him suddenly and said "That just means that there's room for better characters to come, though, the more the merrier."
"You mean me?" Toy Bonnie asked.
"Yes," Old Bonnie replied. "It's about time someone took his place. Wonder what happened. Either way, welcome to the family. You won't see us around much. I like company, though. The others are a little slow to wake up when we do... you should tell me more about your location some time. It's nice knowing someone else has seen how unfair it can be."
Old Bonnie's eyes slowly faded out to black. He slumped over again, and toy Bonnie looked up at the camera on the wall. The light had gone out long ago. It was nearing dawn now and the sky outside was lightening, so he made his way back to the stage where Freddy and Chica gave him odd looks as he picked up his guitar off the floor and got in his place. "What were you doing in parts and services?" Freddy asked. Bonnie looked over and said "I was just talking to the other Bonnie. He looked lonely since everyone else was asleep."
"I thought he didn't like you..." Chica said, and then Freddy said to her "I thought you didn't like him either, and now you're like best friends."
"Good point," she said.
The three of them quietly shut down, eyes closing as the sun crept up over the horizon. Another busy day was ahead of them, another day that Bonnie looked forward to... old Bonnie was definitely right about it being a happier place. A place that, as toy Bonnie closed his eyes for the night, he was excited to wake up to before the doors opened in a few hours.
Baby: Life is too short to take seriously. If you can’t laugh at yourself, call me. I’ll laugh at you
more toy memories time! I don’t think think we really saw the old animatronics move much. they were usually asleep. However, i did know them. I remember being confused and frightened that they would leave active animatronics in that kind of state. Bonnie noticed right away that i wasn’t the original toy bonnie because i panicked when i first found them. He was the one who woke up when i found them, and he said something along the lines of “You - you’re not like the others. You’re not like us. Who are you? What happened to my brother?” He said brother like he was really mad that he’d been replaced by toy bonnie. I actually told him who i was, and he was really curious about where i had come from.
I didn’t disturb them if they were asleep, but if i saw they were awake, i’d come talk to them. I can’t remember what the others were like yet, but bonnie liked me a lot more than he liked toy bonnie... that being that he actually liked me. I think he liked knowing that his replacement had been replaced by someone who’d been through hell too. I’m pretty sure he was the only one who didn’t like his new counterpart.
