Okay but like the Foundling mythos is possibly my favorite bit of worldbuilding ever because that means that in the heart of every Mandalorian is a cultural expectation that's sole purpose is just to grab them by the helmet, point a commanding gremlin finger at them and go;
"Do you see this child? An abandoned child? A child unattended?! I think not!"
Until it is grown or reunited with its own kind, you are as it's parent.
That's just. Fam. Can you imagine? This applying to Bo-Katan? To Boba Fett? To Sabine Wren? Trying to bounty hunt and lead revolutions and do crime and blow up imperials and their main side quests are all adventures in involuntary babysitting?
Like with Din it's great, but applying it to every single mando we'd ever meet is hilarious. I love it.

okay but can we talk about how fucking good the food would be in the Jedi Temple?? and all of the absolutely fucking baller and totally unique fusion dishes that would have to exist?? they're by far the most diverse group of beings we see in star wars, with lineages made up of people from all across the galaxy. the best food in that galaxy has got to be something from a lineage dinner table that's been made and modified by generations of Jedi and no-one ever wrote down

I'm laughing about the possibility that there's at least one clone who read about the great jedi generals and was like "well, the probability that I will get assigned to General Kenobi is pretty low, so fuck it I'm Obi-Wan now" and the Kaminoans then assign them to the 212th and the clone is basically dying inside because clone trooper Obi-Wan has to face General Obi-Wan Kenobi now
Obi-Wan is delighted
Obi-wan was going to die. Commander Cody was going to be so disappointed. When he'd made his choice he hadn't thought the chances of this happening were very high. How could he? A 1 in 1 million chance? And yet here he is.
"And what's your name if I may ask?" General Obi-wan Kenobi asked with the most gentle smile that's ever been aimed at him. He felt like dying right then.
Obi-wan couldn't meet the mans eyes. "It's uh... It's Obi-wan... Sir." He mutters as quietly as he dares. If he's asked to repeat himself he's going to find the nearest airlock.
Or maybe the General will. It's gone agonisingly silent. He hears the Commander take a deep breath and just knows he's about to be chewed out in front of everyone. Yet before it gets that far, there's a choked out laugh. Not from a clone either. He knows what his brothers sound like. No. This is different. This was... He looked up from where his gaze had been locked on the Commanders chest.
The General was trying to muffle the laughter escaping from behind the hand he has over his mouth.
Commander Cody looks tired. "Sir. Please. Don't encourage this." He turns to Obi-wan. "Are you dead set on that as your name?"
"Uh..." How was he supposed answer that? Yes? He was kinda used to it now.
"Oh but Cody you can't just change the poor mans name." The General manages to get out around his laughter. "I think it suits him very well."
The Commander sighed deeply. "You need a nickname." He stares Obi-wan down for a long moment before the corner of his mouth twitched there-and-gone in what Obi-wan will swear later was a smirk. "Obi-two welcome to the 212th."
maybe anakin did have a father and shmi just wanted to see if this random penniless coruscant-accent sword-wizard-monk motherfucker asking personal questions would buy that nonsense

serenno and mandalore being in the same neighborhood entertains me greatly as an enjoyer of worldbuilding like
mandalorians are based on multiple historical seafaring peoples. and they're a fairly aggressive warrior culture for the most part, too. surely they fucked with the planets around them. surely they raided and pillaged a little, or maybe even settled.
what i'm getting at is i think it would be funny if serennian and mandalorian royalty were related and count dooku is, idk, satine's 28th cousin thrice removed and will casually drop that in a conversation (and it's not like that's a huge leap of logic either bc all royals are related anyway)
i have now made up 3 pages of historical mandalorian conquest of serenno lore and subsequent turf wars that might never see the light of day
