Inquiring minds want to know: what are some of your favorite fics? What do you like about them?

Whooooo boi. Im going to stick with Inuyasha fics, seeing as though im positive thats why i have roughly 40% of my followers. Im going to only do the ones that get me the most hyped/ i am most invested in/ made me cry/ or really enthralled me (These are going to be really well known fics.. dont be too dissapointed. Also they are in no particular order)

1. Light Me a Lantern by LittlestTrainWreck on FF (189,774 words over 33 chapters)- It is a larger fic that has action and romance. You can feel the pain of their separation and are on your seat in any of the countless scenes involving Kaede.

2. You Are My Shelter by Mustard Yellow Sunshine on FF (29,302 words over 3 chapters)- I mean, how am i NOT going to put YAMS on here?? The forbidden romance, the gentle easing into their love, the SASSINESS. Everything about it is just so… yum.

3.Phony Digits by StoatsandWeasles on FF ( 92,120 words over 28 chapters)-The way that Kagome and Inuyasha come together in this hilarious circumstance, it is classic romcom in my eyes and i am such a sap.

4.Fractured by Ajoy on FF (78,239 words over 33 chapters)-Guys. the pure ANGST that is this fic just has my little heart a flutter. I live for some good angst. And boi howdy this has it. The way their love transcends all odds just. hnng.

5/6.Freak Attraction / Seven Man Circus by Artistefish on FF ( FA: 101,398 words over 12 chapters) (FA:SMC :75,335 words over 8 chapters)-This series is one of the most creative and well written AUs ive ever come across. The original roped me in with the companionship of Inu and Kags, and its sequel continues to torture me with the slow burn and suspense. im so here for it, my dudes.

7. The Half Breed’s Wife by Gypsyn on FF (54,422 words over 14 chapters)-This fic is just so nsdjbfej Its everything i want. Its cautious companions to eventual lovers and the way Gypsin writes Inuyasha and Kagome together just makes me swoon. Not to mention the mystery that is Kagome’s past!

8.Sword and Arrow by Iji on FF (51,570 words over 8 chapters)- This is so action packed and descriptive. The fight scenes with the Wild Dog have my heart beating in my chest! A fantastic AU with so much depth you could drown.

9. Unexpected by forthright on FF (108,377 words over 69 chapters)-Guys. I could cry. This fic makes my heart swell with love and sweet slow burn giggles. I LOVE Shippo in this fic and would honest-to-God purchase new chapters if i could. Kagome as a Principal is just top tear soft and perf. GIVE ME MORE TT.TT

10.Roomates by Inunanna - Nanna Parth on FF ( 16,088 words over 3 chapters)-This shit makes me laugh so hard. My Nanna knows how to make the “roomates” trope actually work and be so fluid and natural. (Guys, the bathroom cleaning scene almost made me piss myself. just be aware)

11. The Lucky Ones by Terri Botta (Isilwath) on AO3 (307,927 words over 50 chapters)-UGH guys. this series takes you for a fucking ride.Its so beautiful and heart wrenching. Has one of the most bad ass Kagome fight scenes ive ever read and honey does it have all my OTPs. It is so pure inukag and has them being the most perfect couple of the literal century. The way they raise their adopted children is A+ perfection.

12. The Coyote Child By Terri Botta (Isilwath) on AO3 (114,974 words over 19 chapters)- A sequel to The Lucky Ones, focusing on their oldest child, this continuation is so full of action and intrigue. I dont know if i mentioned it for TLO, but Terri has a world so rich in character that you just get so lost, but in a good way. This particular part of the series has them in modern times and boy does it know how to tear at your heart. love love love.

I’ve received a LOT of asks and requests for a mini comic about Inuyasha and Kagome’s baby as a continuation to this short comic, so here is it!

I had imagined this scene with Kagome having a bit hard time while in labor, and Inuyasha being really worried and scared. And he gets all emotional after such scaring time.

Kagome fought the urge to roll her eyes, bending herself even further over the car hood. Across the metal, her co-star Kouga leaned on his hand, now towering over her and forcing her neck to crane uncomfortably to meet his gaze. Couldn’t they have shot the scene conversing at the same eye-level? It wasn’t like Kouga needed to change his position, and she’d been doing nearly the same pose as him! ‘Variety’ she reminded herself firmly; ‘he just wants variety in the shot. You and Kouga can’t be doing the same thing, or, or… well, you just can’t!’
