how can I notice my kouhai?
U-uwaa! You are truly the most gracious senpai! To notice your kouhai, at least from my perspective, i-if that's okay, there are a lot of little things you can do to show them you're aware of them! Maybe you can talk to them about things you know they're interested, and make a point of remembering things they say so you can mention them later! It means a lot when someone takes the time to really listen to you and learn what you have to say. Also, it sounds silly (and maybe it is, ugu...), but a smile can go a long way to showing them you appreciate them! Of course, this all varies for different people and what's meaningful to them, but that's usually a good place to start. Good luck in your noticing, desu!!
