“Well Mrs. LeCoulte only asked for thighs so I guess no legs. I’m not much of a cook myself so I don’t exactly know which is better for stew.” She leaned against the show case glass of the meat, looking over the different types of meats. There were times she tried her best to help out with cooking but it was only ’grab that spice’ or ‘hand me that spoon’. She was more at home with tools than in the kitchen really. Less likely to burn anything or anyone down. “Mason huh. Cool name, nice ta meet you too. You seem like you know what you are doing, worked here a while?”
"I don't really do the cooking myself. Mrs. Izumi is the one who cooks- no one appreciates well cooked dinner like she does. I'm starting to see why she and Mr. Sig have such a successful marriage, after all they do say the quickest way to a man's heart is through his stomach." he chuckled, wrapping up the chicken once it'd been properly cut and washed. "Oh yeah, I've worked her for years, ten or more at least." he lips stretched into a crooked grin and he shot her a look, "Thanks though- but are you going to tell me your name?"

"I don't guess any of you are hear for meat either, are you?"
“Well from what I’ve seen it’s got the best ore deposits so they can make great automail.” She started, leaning back in the seat in the shop. “But I think just a bunch of gear heads just moved there one day together and it grew from that. Everyone there either makes, sells or is outfitted with automail, I guess it would be a mecha. “ Swiveling a little in the chair she got up, feeling resting sitting down and waiting and walked up to the counter. “Never did quite catch your name mister. Mine’s Paninya.”
"I guess that would explain it-- I'm just a butcher, I don't really get into buildin' and constructin' things as sophisticated as automail." he chuckled, finishing off what he had of the beef. He weighed it briefly on the scale, then once he was sure it was as close as it was going to get to a pound, wrapped it up and set it aside, starting on the chicken. "-- Do you want your chicken sliced or do you want legs...or both..?" he shot a glance over his shoulder only to fiind her wandering around. "Oh, I'm Mason-- Nice t'meet ya."
.
Paninya took a seat at the chair he pointed to, crossing her foot across her knee while she watched him go into the back for a moment. She watched him come back around with the meat she wanted, just in it’s whole pieces and not the smaller bits. That would mean she’d get to see him work, which was nice. She’d always watched Mr Dominic, Mr Garfiel, Winry, and Ridel work, finding watching them peaceful. She perked her head up at the question, giving a smile.
“Technically traveling baby sitter but just on vacation really. Came from Rush Valley, not to far from here. Ever been there?”
"Rush valley? Sure, I've been there!" The sharp knife came down methodically against the raw beef, cutting a large chunk out of it, then, began chopping it into smaller pieces, separating it from the the fat. As much as he could remember about the town, it was mostly automail ridden. "There are as many automail shops in Rush Valley as there are bars in Dublith. I can't see why one place would need so much prosthetic attention, but I guess it is the Automail Mecca, huh?"

“Hello miss, welcome to the shop!”
“Hey mister! Running any kinda specials today?”
“All chicken’s half-priced! We’ve seen a beef influx lately and need to make room for some more slabs and ribs.”
“Well well, I don’t think I can pass up that deal up now can I? How about, two pounds of chicken thighs and a pound of rib tips. What’ll that run me. And don’t try and con me now cause I’m not from around here.”
"I wouldn't try to con you, Miss. 'M not that kinda guy- 'sides. My bosses are all about equality, I'd lose my job in a heartbeat." he assured the girl before waving toward a seat, "Comin' right up! It'll be a minute." he warned, befor he disappeared into the back, cool freezer where all the meat was kept... and hauled a raw, plucked chicken and slab of ribs out on both of his shoulders. He lay the meat down on the wax-paper covered counter and retrieved a knife and cutting board.
"--So, what brings you to Dublith?"
