I get it if you are still in hiding and can't do this yet. I know you want to. Many girls begin this aspect of the trans journey by simply applying clear polish. It's not very noticeable to others but you will be VERY aware of it, and it will make you happy in ways you might not expect. Glimmers of gender euphoria.

PS - If you aren't married you have zero excuse not to keep your toenails painted. You'll love looking down and seeing them.

The longer you let it grow, the more options you have for styling it pretty down the road. Also, you will begin to see your true self in the mirror. Just tell yourself: no more haircuts! This is a very easy first step. If you find yourself in a relationship with someone who is trying to dictate the length of your hair? That's the wrong person and that's not love; that's just another attempt to control you. Rebel against that shit. Now is the time.

PS - Eventually, it will grow long enough to tickle your shoulders when you're wearing a sundress and then you will know the essence of gender euphoria.

It's another Monday and you are still stuck in a role you didn't choose (and wearing clothes you pretty much hate). Did you know that you can begin medically transitioning without even leaving the house? Companies like FOLX and Plume enable you to set up a virtual visit or visits with nurse practitioners who will discuss every question you have and when/if you feel the time is right, they will send you meds four times a year for a fixed cost. Are you too scared to even just discuss your feelings? How much do you value your happiness and well-being as a human? You do know you only get one life here, right?

You need to understand something

Transwoman ARE women and women are not sissies. How do you NOT understand that?

I see people here calling themselves trans sissies. What bullshit. I promise you that anybody saying that is not out and living as a woman full-time. If you can't keep this simple fact straight, then there is no hope for you: there is no such thing as a sissy trans woman. There ARE submissive trans women, though. If you go around saying you are a sissy AND trans you hurt the trans community by spreading false assumptions of what it means to be transgender. Words matter.

(I am growing very disgusted by the general vibe I have found upon my return to Tumblr in December. There is more misinformation and lying than ever before. Inauthenticity rules here.
