"I’ll be right back," Alyssa mumbled, stepping into the hall so she could make a call to the doctor. Hanging up, she stepped back in the room. "He’ll be here anywhere from an hour to three hours." She sighed at the long wait, knowing just how sick Alex was. "Need anything while we wait?"

Alexandria nodded and cuddled into her pillow, hoping it would help warm her.  She sighed.  She wanted to just be better.  She hated being sick.  It was miserable.  "Just another blanket from my closet, please," Alexandria said, shivering.  She laid her head on the pillow.

"Thank you," Alex breathed. She turned on her side, bringing her knees up to her chest as she tried to bring whatever body hear she had together. "Whatever you think." Alex sighed as her small body continued to shake under the covers.
