a/n- this is my first fic ever tbh so excuse me if its not the best.Also im sorry for any sort of grammatical errors bc english isn’t my first language but anyways enjoy!

You couldn’t help it falling for someone like well.. him. It was stupid and pathetic of you to fall for someone so ruthless, cruel yet you somehow managed to do it. And here you were being looked down upon for your foolishness by that same person you wished had reciprocated your feelings.You felt small,unimportant,worthless,pathetic you name it under his cold and hard gaze.

‘Why?’ Was the only word he said breaking the unbearable silence.You were shocked upon hearing the man speak and looked up at him again hoping something would have changed even the slightest bit of emotion, but to your disappointment nothing had changed in the slightest.

“I.. I don’t know I just do it wasn’t something I could control you know?If it was up to me I wouldn’t have fallen for you.” You answered his relatively obvious question.In response Scaramouche only scoffed and mumbled something under his breath before just simply walking away.

And just like that he was gone.Gone forever.

On his way back to the headquarters he was thinking about your confession earlier and apart from annoyance he felt a... bit sorry for you?I mean he felt a bit bad because you were a good person really and you deserved someone that truly loved you.. someone that in short words wasn’t him.But hey it will pass don’t worry.And with that he brushed off the thought and continued going to wherever he was headed to.

A lot of time had passed maybe a few months? A year? No no no definitely less than a year.Maybe around 6 months? Yeah that’s probably the closest.But for a certain harbinger these months were the most boring ones he had ever experienced.Perhaps his schedule had been to tight? The inability of his subordinates to get anything done correctly? Or was it that perhaps a certain someone was missing?That’s right you were missing.His life had become even more boring than it already was since when you distanced yourself from that thing.

After so long did he finally realize just how much he missed and longed for your presence.Just how much you meant to him and right now Scaramouche the horrifying 6th Harbinger was willing to try for you.

And that’s how finding you became his mission.Hoping to fix things between you two, to maybe start over? There was always hope right?

Oh boy how wrong he was.

Its not the he didn’t found you.He did.But Scaramouche wasn’t accepting what he saw.You and...?

Someone else? There was this unknown feeling inside him it made him feel so horrible and jealous. Normally Scaramouche wouldn’t hold himself as someone who is jealous especially of a mere mortal that he could easily dispose of if needed or if he wanted.But he didn’t.In fact all he did was just look at you guys laughing and holding hands.

Well that was it.He left.The Balladeer just couldn’t stand the sight in front of him.

As he was walking he couldn’t help but think whose fault was it?Were you too early to confess to him? ‘Or was I too late?’ He thought.

But it didn’t matter right now, not anymore.Because in the end it was his fault and it was him who was foolish and pathetic right now.

The earth itself seemed to cry out in agony, until finally the ground itself split open and a horrific creature crawled from the ground, covered in mucus and tar.

🐇Letting Their S/O Pet Them

Sypnosis: They've notice how down their s/o has been as of late. After a bit of thinking, they've finally thought of something that could take away that disappointed frown off their beloved's face and replace it with the usual radiant smile that captured their heart.

🐇 | A/n: Tighnari may be a bit ooc since I haven't played the archon quest through fully yet ;;

TIGHNARI:

It wasn't too hard to notice, really.

He's been hearing a lot of the rangers talk about how off his beloved's been as of late. As if there was something bothering them.

This had worried Tighnari quite a bit. He's been observing his s/o's behavior in hopes of finding something.

He's noticed a few things.

One, their mannerisms indicate that it's something they don't feel comfortable talking about with the other rangers, at least. Whenever someone asks how they're doing, their hands start fidgeting and he's noticed how they never directly look at the person asking.

Two, they try their best to act normal around him, almost as if it's a secret they're keeping locked and sealed in the deepest depths of their heart. Of course, to any other person, they were acting how they normally would towards him. However, others must remember that this is HIS s/o. It's only natural that he'd be able to notice that something was up.

Research isn't how he should be doing this, he's in a relationship now. Communication is key, as they say, so with this data, he uses it to confront his s/o.

So he approaches them, and urges them to go somewhere where the two of them can sir down together and talk things out.

Tighnari will first explain to them that he's noticed their recent changes in behavior. Then he'll ask them what happened (without forcing them to talk), and if there's anything he could do to make them feel better.

His s/o tells him that they've just had a really rough week and didn't want to worry about them.

They tried to apologize to him, but before they could, he pulls them into his arms and gives them a quick peck on the lips in an attempt to quite them.

Tighnari will reassure them that he is their partner, and he's here for them if they ever need anyone to lean on.

Although even after that conversation, he's noticed how his s/o seemd to still feel upset.

So, this required a plan b. One that he usually wouldn't go to, as it was embarrassing, very embarrassing.

When his s/o came home after being out the whole day, he pulled them onto his lap, which took them off guard.

With a graceful movement, he took their hand and placed in on his head. A small smile of reassurance resting on his lips.

"You're still feeling down, correct? Well... Cheer up. It's alright. I normally wouldn't let people do this, but since it's you, go ahead..."
