i decided to read A Thousand Boy Kisses and what I didn’t expect was to be sobbing at the end of the book. Completely ruined me
i finished a court of silver flames in 11 hours. Nesta and Cassian have a very special place in my heart. I loved this book so much.
in other news... when’s book 6 coming out? 😂
so here are little tidbits from ACOSF I absolutely adore:
- Cassian scratching the shit out of himself because ALLERGIES
- Nesta being funny and making fun of Cassian
- Cassian being a teribble courtier
- Cassian not sleeping with anyone since before the war and we all known why
- Nesta telling Cassian off and Cassian reacting “who taught you to curse?”
- Nesta talking to the house, befriending the house, giving the house smutty books to read
- “The book…is about a book.”
- Azriel striding into the dining room after the BJ because he doesnt care
- Nesta having besties
- Nesta making bracelets with her besties
- Nesta being mad whenever someone calls Cassian a bastard
- jealous Cassian
- Nessian dancing AND SMILING AT EACH OTHER
- Cassian giving Nesta music (also the tiny book at the bottom of Sidra but that did not go so well)
- Elain being happy Nesta told her “Oh, fuck you” (I was happy too)
- Nesta telling Feyre she loves her
- Nesta altering her body because she wants to have babies with Cass (yo, shes planning the future and that is so amazing to see)
- Nessian being extra and planning a ornate mating ceremony. Im not surprised
And probably so much more but I need to do a reread. My mind is a mess.
(if you want to say something negative about ACOSF..please dont. I truly loved the book and the whole tumblr fandom is ruining my experience.)
twilight but instead of a dramatic reveal about how edward’s a vampire bella just shows up to class one day and slides a copy of Dracula across the table to see what happens

This is the best post I have seen all day
It occurred to Pooh and Piglet that they hadn’t heard from Eeyore for several days, so they put on their hats and coats and trotted across the Hundred Acre Wood to Eeyore’s stick house. Inside the house was Eeyore.
“Hello Eeyore,” said Pooh.
“Hello Pooh. Hello Piglet,” said Eeyore, in a Glum Sounding Voice.
“We just thought we’d check in on you,” said Piglet, “because we hadn’t heard from you, and so we wanted to know if you were okay.”
Eeyore was silent for a moment. “Am I okay?” he asked, eventually. “Well, I don’t know, to be honest. Are any of us really okay? That’s what I ask myself. All I can tell you, Pooh and Piglet, is that right now I feel really rather Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. Which is why I haven’t bothered you. Because you wouldn’t want to waste your time hanging out with someone who is Sad, and Alone, and Not Much Fun To Be Around At All, would you now.”
Pooh looked and Piglet, and Piglet looked at Pooh, and they both sat down, one on either side of Eeyore in his stick house.
Eeyore looked at them in surprise. “What are you doing?”
“We’re sitting here with you,” said Pooh, “because we are your friends. And true friends don’t care if someone is feeling Sad, or Alone, or Not Much Fun To Be Around At All. True friends are there for you anyway. And so here we are.”
“Oh,” said Eeyore. “Oh.” And the three of them sat there in silence, and while Pooh and Piglet said nothing at all; somehow, almost imperceptibly, Eeyore started to feel a very tiny little bit better.
Because Pooh and Piglet were There. No more; no less.

can waterbenders bend oil can earthbenders bend glass can airbenders bend sound can firebenders bend mixtapes
Yes, waterbenders can bend any water based material, as shown when Katara bends ink (Book 3, Chapter 16, “The Southern Raiders”) and soup (Book 3, Chapter 8, “The Runaway”). so as long as the oil is water based (baby oil, cooking oil, etc) then yes. If you’re talking about oil like for a car, then no, they can’t, because it isn’t water based.
Glass is made of sand and earthbenders can bend sand (Book 2, Chapter 10, “The Library”) and furthermore earthbenders can bend the earth particles in metal (Book 2, Chapter 19, “The Guru”) so it stands to reason that they can bend the sand particles in glass. There is a question of whether or not they can still bend it because it is a very purified form of earth and another pure form of earth, platinum, is unbendable (LOK Book 1, Chapter 7, “The Aftermath”). However, when the sand is turned into glass it becomes crystalline (sand is mostly quartz particles after all) and we know earth benders can bend crystals (Book 1 Chapter 5 “The King of Omashu” when Bumi bends the creeping crystal).
Yes, airbenders can bend sound. This is shown when Aang bends sound by using his Appa whistle and extends the range of the sound (Book 2, Chapter 15, “Tales of Ba Sing Se”).
Firebenders can bend heat (Book 3, Chapter 6, “The Avatar and the Firelord”) which leads me to believe that they can not only bend fire mixtapes but can also control how fire a mixtape is by making it hotter.
Damn, pohlarbearpants did the research
Just as a PSA, I’ve never reblogged that “your mom will die” post. I’ve seen it half a dozen time so or more and I’ve ignored it every time. My mom’s doing great.
You’re safe. I’ve done the test for you. You can safely ignore it. It is a failed curse. It doesn’t work.
Lmao they really took that chance tho
No, I didn’t. In my mind it wasn’t a chance.
But for some people, it would feel like one. There are people for whom posts like that cause great distress. Not because they think those posts actually work, but because those posts prey on anxiety disorders by exploiting the way anxious brains function. It’s an inherently cruel thing to do and I do not blame anyone who is unwilling to take the ‘chance,’ because regardless of whether or not they genuinely believe their mom will be affected, the emotional distress caused by having seen and not reblogged the post is not worth it.
I do not suffer from this particular brand of anxiety. But I do have anxiety about other, equally unlikely things. So I can empathize with people for whom these types of chain posts cause genuine distress, and I can recognize how needlessly cruel the posts themselves are–particularly because people who DO reblog them often do so at the expense of followers, or at the risk of getting rude comments about how ‘gullible’ they are, or even angry remarks from other anxiety sufferers who start blaming the victim instead of blaming the person who created the damn post in the first place.
My point in creating this post was simply to attempt to ease the anxiety of those who are negatively impacted by those types of chain posts. It has nothing to do with whether or not I actually believe that ignoring that post puts my mom in danger. I don’t. If I’d had even a modicum of doubt about that, I wouldn’t have taken the chance.
But hopefully a few fellow anxiety sufferers now have ammunition against the part of their brains that torments them with that whispered “but what if…?” every time they see the post (or others like it).
That’s all.
hey op you’re a good person
