Because I don't get drunk. TMI time!
"Tell me a good joke and maybe I'll split this pizza with ya."

There was something smart gleaming in the eyes of the beta, he could appreciate intelligence where he saw it. James let a calculating smile curl his lips, hands tucked in the pockets of the denim of his jeans. “How do you feel about making some extra payment?” He asked giving him a side glance. “I could use some information.” He started laying out the proposition. “Nothing to get you in trouble of course, just if you hear something interesting you pass it on. Who’s doing what, pack politics and the likes? I’m sure if men are so eager to live out their fantasies they get loose with their tongues as well.”
opening a door for the alpha as they cut through one part of the club, and then another, Blane slowed and looked at James. His gaze was almost critical, almost, but critical for the thinking he was doing. Now, money Blane could always use. There were bills to pay, shirts to buy, a gym membership to keep up. he tipped his head up some, humming. "Yeah but there is an honor code, sort of," he said with a little nod of his head. "I'll let you know now - I'm not in a pack and I spend more time with humans. So... I'll see what I can do. If you want, I can catch you up on the packs I do know about. the ones who've been around a while..." he paused. "But I'm not going to go throwing the good customers under the bus. I don't get the luxury of knowing big secrets from smaller ones. Plus I don't know what you'll be doing with your information."
just a fluffy butt red wolf. yanno.

James let a smirk linger a moment too long his lips as the younger man spoke. One brow rose at the colorful description, peppered with some vulgarities here and there undoubtedly to get a raise, or to make a point - he was inclined to agree however. Simple enough, but the idea behind it worked. Not cheap enough to drive one away, but still just enough to leave a man with some sense that he was given something he should otherwise work for. “You’re a good actor, kid. I’ll give you that.” The wolf’s eyes lingered on the man then. “How long you’ve been working here?”
Reaching out, Blane hummed and fixed Blane's collar. "I sure do try to be," he drawled, grinning a bit. He let James look, somewhat basking in it, but overall accustomed to it. The question had him glancing up in thought, shrugging a shoulder as he leaned against the wall for a moment. "Not too long. It's pretty much a more-fun version of drama class in high school..." He couldn't seem to treat James like a typical client, and it wasn't because the man hadn't paid. There was just something about the other wolf. There was a realness around him Blane appreciated.

James smirked around the words. He couldn’t disagree from that, people found their escapes whatever way they could. Some more gracefully than others. Who was he to judge.”Just that? I should’ve expected some creativity.” James shrugged. “You did say you were selling a fantasy, did you not? How is Adam a fantasy?”
Slowing, Blane moved in front of the alpha. He couldn't resist what he said and did next. "Because I'm not the whore on the street corner. I'm the son of the guy you live next door to. The one who mows your lawn and struts around shirtless because I know. The jock who needs tutoring after school..." he drew close, but took his time doing it, occasionally a light touch here and there - adjusting James' collar, making it seem like they ere the only two in the place. "I'm the guy who'd make breakfast in the morning if the fuck was good enough. I'm no marzipan or cinnamon. I'm the guy you lust after out there who'd never be caught dead grinding on your lap and wearing these kind of shorts. Everyone's got a thing - I just fit a niche," He leaned back then, grinning.

"Fantasies, huh." James shook his head. "On the side of the steak or does one pay extra for that." A dry chuckle parted his lips James caught his eyes and smothered down the urge to laugh again. "Gray. James Gray." He gave a pointed look along with his introduction. "At least you didn’t pick something moronic like Marzipan."
"Hey - some men come here looking for twinks, some fine cigars... they're all here to escape from something though," the redhead toned. Blane snorted, smiling some at the other's comment. "Gotta pay extra, sorry... Marziwhat?" now his brow was furrowing for a moment. "C'mon, people really do that?That's insane - I think the worst name we have around here is Jessie, with the -IE..."
Fridays Lackadaise || Alo&Blane
"Tonight’s good. If you’re hungry I can make pasta." Alo’s smile was once again bright. He really couldn’t hide hat he was excited to have plans with Blane. He was also excited to finally make pasta for someone, he;d been practicing with that cookbook long enough."Would you like me to bring my key o do you just want to hope the gate again?"
"Pasta? Sounds good," Blane said, pulling out his phone. He opened up a new contact window, before offering it to Alo. "So I can let you know I'm on the way.." he explained. Looking over at the playground, the beta called over his nephew, smiling at Alo. "Well you can bring your key if you want but... I'm a creature of habit," Blane shrugged after that. This was shaping up to be working out pretty well. Free food, a night-swim... and all in the comfort of someone else's place. A night free of his family was something Blane would never pass up.
@Club
James eyed the boy as we walked past him and followed, feeling more than a little ridiculous. “Is that your real name?” His brows crossed. “Or are you required to have a stage one?”
"Required - we sell fantasies here, or try to," he said with a shrug. "I doubt I'd be getting any stalkers - but some omegas that work here are better off with the fake names..." He looked at the other, still expecting a name.
Fridays Lackadaise || Alo&Blane
Alo chuckled, putting his hands up, “Hey, go ahead and be a law-breaker if you want to. Just don’t be upset if I call the local law enforcement,” He teased. “I’m kidding. We should make a plan to swim together. Especially since I pretty much own the pool.” Alo was in it frequently during the week, so he considered it ‘his’. He never really saw anyone else in it after all. An image of the beta in just a pair of tight swim shorts flashed across his mind, and he tried his hardest to expel it before it was obvious.
Arching a brow, Blane mulled the idea over for a moment. He had the next few nights off, that much he knew. "How's tonight?" he asked. Blane could be impulsive, but he knew there wasn't harm. The Omega had invited him out for a swim - why not soon? He had to utilize free time when he had it. "I could swing by around ten. Or Sunday night. That's my next bit of free time.
@Club
Eat at a strip club or have a steak…Such decisions. Lead the way then, I hope that this place is worth the charge on the way in at least.
With a small smirk, Blane waved for the alpha to walk with him. 'Name's Adam, by the way. What's yours?" no sense in being quiet while they headed off. Blane didn't feel like getting the "be more talkative" lecture from his employer.
Fridays Lackadaise || Alo&Blane
Alo smiled He knew he was that baby. The one that would never go o sleep no matter what, and cause hell for he household. He was surprised to find the beta had been here his whole life, and Alo had never seen him before, but it was a big town, and Alo never really took time to explore it fully. He smirked, his eyes widening. “You mean my trailer park community pool? You’re sneaking in there? I have a key if you ever get tired of gate climbing.”
Eyes widening, Blane laughed at having been caught. "Yeah, guess I do mean 'your' trailer park," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. He squinted then, before pouting. "But breaking in's half the fun! What're you trying to do, Alo - make me a decent citizen?" He asked, amused all over again.
Fridays Lackadaise || Alo&Blane
Alo looked over, watching the bot turn and smile at Blane before returning to his game. He seemed full of energy. “And how long does that usually take?” He asked, looking back to Blane. His hands slid into his pockets as the small breeze around them kicked up. Alo wondered, “Are you new around here? I don’t think i’ve seen you around before.” It was sudden thought, but Alo would’ve been aware if he’d seen a ginger before today, especially this one.
Blane snorted softly. "Hours," he sighed with a shake of his head. "practically have to shoot him with a tranq to get him to sleep at night." He was trying to sound serious, but couldn't - he wound up smiling again. "Nah, I've lived in this town my whole life - but I only but outta my neighborhood for the primo parks," he teased, "But between you and me, the trailer park has the best community pool. Sneaking into that place is a blast." he added, glancing back at Alo with a smirk. "

"Blane." He repeated. It was a nice name. He noticed Blane look over to the playground area again, something he did ever so often since their conversation began. Alo figured one of the kids running around was Blane’s younger sibling or something. It could’ve been his actual child, Alo wouldn’t be surprised, but he wasn’t going to assume. He’d ask later. "Huh? Oh, you know, just casually stumbling into strangers. Normal Friday park stuff." He smiled, shaking his head. His stupid sense of humor. "I came out for a jog. It’s a nice day to. You?"
Biting his lip, Blane grinned with a small nod. For his reasoning, he simply pointed to one of the toddlers attempting to climb a jungle gym. "the one with the pirate shirt on, Rooney," he explained. The little boy twisted around, grinning at Blane who just waved back. "He's three," the beta looked back at Alo, "Just trying to wear him out a little so he actually takes a nap..."
