As someone who is adopted, I find batcest not just wrong, but also very highly offensive. Firstly, you are saying that just because they don’t share blood, they’re not as much of a family as people who are biologically related. You are demeaning their relationship. Then, even in AUs where a member of the family doesn’t get adopted, apparently that’s now given you free rein, because let me tell you buddy, no it doesn’t. You have taken some people who are CANONICALLY siblings, and looked around for any excuse to make them date that’s not weird.
