MAYA & CARINA | Station 19 - 6x14 "Get It All Out"
Butterflies 🦋
“I’ll fight like hell to come and find you. Even if it’s not in this lifetime or perhaps this century. It could even be a different universe, worlds apart or on different continents but I will find you again and again through time and space, across treacherous lands and vast bodies of seas, I’ll always find my home in you. Forevermore me and you against the world, my love.”

Missing the collideverse after the F1 championship, so here is Maya Bishop from Collide
Father Figure (Marina’s Version)
Father Figure - Part 1
By day, 25-year old Maya Bishop is carving out a space for herself in the lineup of next generation firefighters, working her ass off in the academy to solidify a spot at the infamous Station 19. By night however she is an escort, the classy kind, who accompanies clients to social events and makes them look good in short dresses and high heels. She plays the part of a fake girlfriend very well, perhaps sometimes too well but it pays the bills while it allows her to focus on building her career in the SFD.
Her plans are vehemently derailed the moment she is propositioned by a client she least expected. Her boss. Carina DeLuca is a distraction she can’t afford but also can’t seem to stay away from.
What ensues is a torrid affair that neither of them could have ever anticipated. Will they crash and burn faster than they started or find in each other what has been missing all along; everlasting love?

Carina of course brought the dress for this very occasion. Maya watched her slip it over her frame, following every inch the fabric covered until it stuck to all the right curves. Maya stepped forward, taking over zip duty and slowly rode up the teeth until it was locked in place. She then sweeps Carina’s hair to the side and places a soft kiss on her exposed shoulder, slipping her hand around her hip and stopping at her lower stomach as she pulls her against her front. They both admire the dress in the floor length mirror, Maya especially.
“This is my favourite dress.”
“I know.”

“Blue eyes cloud her vision, motivating her to run even faster and she does. She runs until her lungs burn from exertion, she runs until her legs can’t even keep up. She runs until she is soaring through the dark fields, branches from the ready to harvest olive trees scrape and nick her skin as she goes but nothing can stop her from getting to the house.”

Getaway Car
It’s been a month since Carina started working at the bank. It was a monotonous kind of position but she settled in pretty quickly and even garnered attention from the small town residents who all liked her from the get go. It wasn’t a challenging job or a big bank by any means and a large chunk of her job required listening to people’s life stories more than actually working with the exchange of money.
Tuesday afternoons were usually the quietest day of the week which meant only 3 people were on shift; herself, the manager and the security guard. The soft buzzing of the fluorescent lights overhead drove her crazy on this particular day and Gary, her manager, sitting next to her on her desk talking about his plans for the upcoming weekend didn’t help the headache from forming.
She was about to make an excuse to go to the bathroom when John, one of her new favourite customers came in. He was a grumpy old man but Carina enjoyed his candor. She jumped up to go to her teller but Gary continued his story right on her heels.
She greeted John and he stated his business, curtly, which she took her time to fulfill because Gary was actually quiet for the first time today but still hovering like a pestering fly. She typed and asked John questions wanting to keep him there for as long as she could.
Her plans however were vehemently derailed when the front door burst open violently crashing against the wall. Everyone in the bank, a collective of 4 people, turned their attention towards the new intruder who were already shoving a gun in the security guard’s face, summoning him to walk backwards toward the other 3 patrons.
“On the ground!” The robber, whose face was obscured by a black bandana and cap, demanded. Pointing the gun at everyone for show.
“You,” they pointed the gun at Carina “put everything in the bag.” A sack was thrown her way and with trembling hands Carina opened the drawer and shoved all of the cash in the bag. If she remembered correctly it wasn’t necessarily chop change either.
“Hurry!” The shorter figure spouted, turning the gun from Carina and keeping it trained on the three men on the ground instead.
Carina glanced up briefly just as the robber looked away. She clocked a blonde strand that had come loose and was peeking out from underneath the brim of a black cap and the sapphire blue eyes looked around cautiously, perhaps more aware than anything but they seemed composed, confident even, despite the urgency of the situation.
She dropped the last dollar bill in the bag and handed the bag to the robber. Their fingers brushed and their eyes locked for a second and then the figure sprinted out of the door. The security guard jumped up and pressed the silent alarm then ran after the thief. Carina stood frozen still.
“Allison, are you okay?” Gary stood next to her but she didn't respond right away only when he briefly touches her arm did she look at him.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” Carina answered.
“Let her sit down.” John commented, ever the gentleman but still struggling to stand up himself and she went over to help him instead while Gary stayed put, shaking in his boots. This is probably the most exciting thing that has ever happened in this bank, hell, even this town.
“I need fresh air.” She didn’t wait for them to stop her and walked out without another word.
Outside she could hear the faint sound of police sirens already approaching. It was a small enough town that they would be there in a few minutes.
A burnt orange painted mustang came screeching around the corner of the building and abruptly stopped at the bottom of the steps of the bank, the window rolled down and the driver looking right at her. Carina’s heart raced. The robber had removed their bandana and cap, blonde hair falling down to her shoulders and a million dollar smile plastered on her face.
“You coming?” She says, revving the engine for show. It was now or never.
Carina watched the mischievous glint of those blue eyes sparkle, clearly chuffed at herself but she took an extra second longer to build on the time they didn't have before she responded and took the steps two at a time. She got in the car turning sideways as the door closed behind her, breathless.
“You pointed the gun at me.” She pouts.
“I had to, babe. To make it look real. That’s why we practiced last night, remember?”
“Still. I’m mad at you.”
“I’m sorry. You know I’d never let anything happen to you, right?” Maya leans towards Carina, “How can I make it up to you?”
Carina continues to pout, “Kiss me.”
Maya reached over and grabbed the lapels of Carina’s navy blue work blazer, the name tag reading Allison coming undone from its magnetic clip and falling haphazardly between them on the seat. The sirens are closer now, their hearts racing in tandem, adrenaline coursing through their veins.
“Hi.” Maya whispers before crashing into Carina, pressing into her with all of her weight.
Carina opens her mouth upon impact and clashes with Maya’s tongue and teeth. They inhale deeply at the same time and mould their lips to each other like they belong together. They kiss in the face of danger, the money in the bag sitting on the back seat.
They break apart and breathlessly stare at each other.
“We should probably go now.”
“Hold on tight, babe.” Maya says before flooring the pedal, tires squealing and a cloud of smoke is the only thing left in the wake of their great escape.
