hi tumblr Ali
That time I rode 70 miles and enjoyed it! Century, I'm coming for you next time.
They are still going to let me practice medicine. I am happy to report I passed my recertification exam. Now if you'll please notice the 'your decline' column on the right. Yup. That's right. Can't lie, there was a number in almost every category. The almost was for the whopping 4 questions asked about my sub-specialty, nailed those! Here's to the next 10 years.
You know it's going to be a good baby shower when you and one of your besties are rocking similar outfits.

Riding in Planes with Boys
The lucky blonde that I am was thrilled to finally have the experience of flying with the Pilot. I flew from Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas to Sioux Falls, South Dakota. For my entertainment the handsome pilot made a delightfully long announcement and had a stellar takeoff and landing.

Happy Pi day
Wow. #sunset #ColumbiaRiverGorge #pnw
And just like that a chapter ends. Today was my last day at work. I now have 10 weeks of glorious freedom. If I don't get taken down by restlessness first. Here's to new beginnings, love, and to living life to the fullest.
I will miss that view though.Â
The rain stopped. The Sun came out. And all was inspiring! #MachuPicchu #Peru #humbled #gorgeousday
Light the night Portland was hosted this Saturday. The event was well run. The fireworks shot over the Willamette were stunning. Seeing thousands of people come together to honor those that have survived, that are fighting and those that have passed from their leukemia, lymphoma or other heme malignancies was inspiring. It's such an honor to do the work I do and fight this fight with these brave patients. I still plan on lighting my own laterns in remembrance. Time and date TBD.

Hiking South Sister, the 3rd highest mountain in Oregon at 10,358'. It was steep and hard. It was also cold and snowing. That's right, snow. Cold, blustery snow that dropped your visibility drastically. Pushed through and made it to the summit. Even though I'm sore and in some pain today I feel accomplished!
