When the familiar form of the tactician-in-training came into view, he rushed towards her (but not too fast, he didn’t want to startle her!).

“D-Daedra? Pardon me, I hope I’m not bothering you,” he began, embarrassingly out of breath from darting through the settlement all morning.

The knight was relaxing in the sunlight, eyes closed and soaking up the warmth as he sat by himself just outside of the Shepherds’ campsite. It was a lovely day, so he couldn’t resist the chance to sunbathe, even just a bit.

It was silent for a long time (aside from the creaking of his armour whenever he adjusted himself on the grass), until a certain manakete youth entered the scene. He was always so cheerful and upbeat by what Kellam had witnessed, and he couldn’t help but be a little bit envious of the smiling boy.

“You’re always so full of energy...” He commented more to himself than to Hemingway, but it wouldn’t be outside the realm of possibility if the other were able to hear him.

“...No, it isn’t too cold anymore. I think there should be some around, but there probably aren’t enough flowers around camp for any to want to be here very long. Maybe there’s a hive in the forest?”

Kellam felt a bit bashful for asking however, with the last few battles being as tough as they were, he wanted to be prepared as best as he could be! Sure, there would be a briefing directly before the march, but that meant he’d have to wait longer than he'd personally like to know who he’d be battling beside... Or more accurately, who he’d be making sure to protect.
