for new years eve, i‘m probably gonna sit at fucking home doing nothing while my friends r having fun, all bcuz an ex-friend of mine told me earlier this year that being gay is fucking unnatural and shouldn‘t be on this planet. we are no longer friends but he‘s still friends with my friends, so he‘s partying with them on new years eve. i don‘t ever want to do anything with him again. fuck coming out honestly. he has made 20gayteen so much worse for me. i thought this was gonna be my year.
That does suck and he’s the definition of a shit bag. If your friends continue to hangout with him, they are not your friends either. Go do something! Don’t sit at home and wallow, force yourself out there even if it’s just going to a coffee shop alone to read.
I lost both of my best friends in the past 6 months. One friend chose her cheating/abusive husband over her friends and my other friend moved out of the country for school. Yes this year has been rough but it was also an amazing year full of personal growth. After that happened I flew on an airplane for the first time, traveled to three different states alone, made several new friends across the country and gained a whole new level of confidence.
Just because people in your life leave, doesn’t mean it’s the end. Yes it tough but you just have to get out there!
No one is the same and everyone has different solutions to their problems, you just have to get out and find yours. Big hugs
