the most heroic [closed // lissa]
Smiling amicably in the direction her friend had sat beside her as he peered at her art, a sense of deja vu seemed to wash over her as she looked over. The scenery before her changed to something more resemblant of a forest than an arts and crafts table, a vaguely familiar face stood a few feet away from her, though for some reason the sight seemed almost dreamlike. The blurred lines that made it up had the other almost unrecognizable even as the princess tried to squint towards them, the sound of a lively voice interrupting her efforts.
"Oh! … …ow! Do I …ve child…?" Though the sound came out like some kind of bad signal, cutting out and quiet at times, the fact that it the voice came from her own lips allowed her to discern the rest of what was being said. What a weird thing to ask though…
"Y… …ve a …n …med. …wain…"
Blinking down at the piece of paper that the other boy was now trying to assist her with, a feeling of slight disorientation plagued her. What was that? Blue eyes took in the slight correction that had been made to her already-masterpiece as Lissa thought about it for a moment, eventually speaking up in a perfectly clear voice, contrasting that which she’d sworn she heard moments before.
"Whoa, I just got the weirdest sense of deja vu!"
"Oh, uh, right. I’ve only been here a little while, but I thought it’d be fun." Seeing as she was hardly capable of doing any good at most of the other activities, anyway. "Wait, but that wasn’t just me, right? That was soooo weird, and I thought I heard your name Owain! You didn’t say anything, did you?"
Hearing her talk about a weird feeling causes his sense of hearing to heighten (or so he likes to imagine) and he becomes far more attentive when she elaborates. "Yeah, yeah I know what you mean." He scratches his cheek awkwardly, trying to make sense of what he heard before her. When he thinks about it, he swears he heard the other girl's name-- but that's nonsense! "I didn't say anything thought, well, except a comment about your drawing."
Ah... But it also appears that one of the voices was also Lissa's own...
"Hey! I actually think I heard you talk in a... not a vision per se, but something like it... But I thought I imagined it or something." Sadly, Owain didn't really see anything worth noting -- it must have been too blurry or faint for him to process any sight recognizable, but in any case, the fact he heard Lissa voice and possibly her name still stands! "...You didn't say anything either, right?" He asks just to be safe, though, it's not like he's expecting her to say yes. The voice was far too faint for it to have been her talking to him.
"Wait, so what exactly did you hear, aside from my name?" If she was hearing his name so willy-nilly, he figures he might as well ask about the context his name was said in. "It's... really strange, you know. I felt a weird thing between us just now!"
