My goals for 2018 are to be more positive and take more control of my life. I’m a pretty passive person and I let every little thing get to me.

Sounds cliche but its not because people still don’t know how to do such a thing but … just to be transparent with who ever you choose to be in a relationship with and respect.

The truth is .. I sit home and binge watch TV shows lol.

How's it feel to be back to your tumblr roots??? I remember following you on here way back in like 2012, glad to see you're doing big things!

Where did you get your confidence and high self-esteem?

I feel like my self confidence is still growing, but I definitely will say that I’ve made a lot of progress!

I’ve been professionally since I was 14

What song are you the proudest of on the new album?

I’m proud of the whoooole project, and I often get asked this question. My thing is.. depending on my mood that day I have a different “favorite” song.

What has inspired you the most during the album process?

I would have to say my friends. They would always keep me company while in the studio and help give opinions on certain things.

do you feel scared when you perform in front of people? how do you keep yourself calm enough to keep your voice steady n all?

The first 5 seconds on stage are always the scariest to me.. and the last 5 minutes before I get on stage are the most nerve recking. 

 But after about 3 minutes (the first song) something clicks and I realize “wait a second ….. I’m Justine Skye … they came to see me, and I came to give them everything I’ve got!” 

putting yourself out there in front of people is always a bit scary.. some people get used to it, but I think the nerves are what keep a person human.
