This weekend I was reminded of the excitement and simplicity of living as a Christian. To put love on and fear off. To encourage one another. To live sacrificially. To be selfless and to allow God’s supernatural love work through you. It takes courage to love - to step out and encourage. To choose a lifestyle of faith and not comfort. As my friend Randy put it this weekend - If we all learned to do just this with excellence, the world and the church would look very different. I am reminded today that the Christian life on this earth - at its core - is a life of loving the person in front of you, well.

My favorite time of day

Jesus is an inferno of desire. He is raging in love and glory. As I enter into His presence, it is inevitable that He captures my emotions, my mind, and my heart. I love moments like this - spending time with the Father. More and more, I’m realizing that this is my favorite part of the day. It's not my work, it's not when I hangout, but it's these moments - in the stillness and in the quiet - when my mind and my heart is able to create the space and time to encounter the one who loves me and has created me. There are important events in our life, whether it's the day of our graduation, or our wedding, or when we give an important presentation at work/school. Because of the importance of these events, we prepare our minds, hearts, and time for this event. We begin to think about it early in advance. We plan everything appropriately so that everything works out perfectly. In the same way, I feel like God is showing me to approach these times of devotion - in the same way. It's about preparing myself to fully engage and experience everything God has for me in this time. It's precious and of utmost importance. My intentionality and preparation for this time of devotion with God will determine the level in which I will receive from Him.

Wow. This is so much more than I can ever ask for! This morning, I got this 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe (70k miles) for $7k(!!) from my cousin. This is my first car & after driving it today- I honestly feel quite uncomfortable driving this bad boy around! haha but man I feel so blessed and grateful. 4 weeks ago, when I called my dad about looking for a used car for my job commute, the same week-- my cousin tells me he wants to sell his G35 to me. 😳 Thank you Lord! 🙌 You always provide and you go above and beyond! Man the last time I drove regularly was almost 5 years ago when I would drive my Mom's toyota avalon to high school everyday haha back to the driving life. #blessed #thankseunsu!

Walking around Hongdae (Seoul, South Korea)

I gotta admit- Hongdae is a pretty cool part of town. I like it for its creative cafes, jazz restaurants, lively atmosphere, and artsy design. I got to spend some time here today.

I first dropped by New Philly's new church office and prayer tabernacle. I didn't get to take pictures of what it looks inside (you'll have to go there for yourself!)-- but simply put: Its amazing!! Its definitely a creative and innovative atmosphere. Its got the "start-up" vibe with its glass-wall rooms, colored walls, and detailed lighting. I especially like the drum enclosure for the prayer tab! :3 #checkitout!

3 Cool things I saw at Hongdae (@ night)

#1 These "lit-up box" tables. It looks really cool at night.

#2 That device next to my computer is not a phone. Its one of those things that BUZZes when your order is ready. This particular Tom N Toms cafe has Buzzers that have advertisements via video + audio. Thats definitely an upgraded buzzer. (I don't know if they're actually called buzzers haha)

#3 This place is called Groove (Hongdae). They rent out music rooms fully-equipped with high quality gear! Got to spend an hour jamming in this studio. Its only 14,000krw ($14) per hour! Legit.

Spent all day interviewing CEOs and Venture Capitalists as a volunteer @ Seoul’s “beLAUNCH 2013 Start-up Conference”. It was very interesting to hear their perspectives about Korea’s rising start-up ecosystem. With conferences like these, I believe we’re gonna see a lot more global Korean ventures sprouting in the near future!

I am very fortunate & grateful to have professors who are CEOs and Directors at beSUCCESS! Great experience and excited to have connected with many from the Silicon Valley/bay area! Interviews will be posted on beSUCCESS’ website soon!
