I want to follow more blogs, so if you post about:
-Books (Any/Fantasy) -Studying (Especially literature) -Writing
I can’t wait to to meet/follow new people. Hi!
Also, if you want to talk about books with me, my ask box is open.
Gray
Everything was gray-the walls, the tiled floor, the uniforms and my dreams. I don’t think there’s a worse place on earth for mentally challenged people than the mental asylum itself. You’d be kidding yourself if you think you can just waltz in that rot iron gate and spend a few days in those suffocating cells like animals just to loiter out as a changed and new person. Once you enter that diseased facility, you’ll never leave. You’ll always be stuck in those four walls of whatever cell you’re assigned. You’ll always wear that thin cloth, an excuse for a uniform that hardly left anything to imagination. You’ll always be referred to as patient number 11268, stripped of your identity and basic human rights. You’d just be a ghost of who you once were. And that ghost, that translucent residue of your once physical existence will also be gray. Because inside those fenced grounds, further within the cement building with its concrete floors, deep at the core of the asylum is a heart that bleeds gray.
There’s fear in your eyes. And sadness. But you and I both know there’s no escape from this. I take a deep breath and pull the trigger. The mirror shatters and so do you and so do I.
"i fear"
I could drop to my knees, lower my gaze and let him have his way. Or I could stand straight and look him in the eye. You see, it didn't really matter because in the end he was going to have me; he was going to bend me and break me. There was no doubt about it. The real question was: how easy was I going to make it for him?
-The book I'll write some day.
Treat me like your favorite book. Secure me in your arms like a journal. And pour your heart to me like a story I’ve never heard before.
