“I’ve let myself get walked on. I’ve let myself be ridiculed. I’ve let myself be treated poorly. All because I was scared to lose those people. I was scared to lose the people that didn’t care that they hurt my feelings and put me down. Isn’t is sad what we put ourselves through for people that wouldn’t do the same for us?”

Tarot Idea: Shuffle your deck. Take the cards from the very top and very bottom. The bottom is buried pain, whilst the top is divine advice.

Should I buy a pendulum or groceries?????????????????
What a great question to ask a pendulum. 😂
(I hope you know I'm laughing at the irony and in no way support a lack of groceries. )
Buy groceries. Tie string to grape. Pendulum.
Reblogging a second time for this comment omg.
Hi, I'm new to witchcraft and I know the Mabon starts today, do know how to celebrate it? If not, is there somewhere you can direct me to? I know I can look it up but I was hoping to hear it from an experienced witch😊
Hello, friend! Here’s a basic rundown of the holiday and how you might want to celebrate it!
What is Mabon?
Mabon is the second harvest festival of the Wheel of the Year, and it corresponds with the Autumn Equinox. However, some witches opt to celebrate Mabon for the entire week surrounding the equinox, not just the day itself. It is a celebration of the Autumn season, of what we have gained through our hard work, and of the abundance that fills our lives. It is also a time for contemplation of and preparation for the Dark Half of the year and the coming winter.
When is Mabon?
The Autumn Equinox is officially on September 23, 2019. However, Mabon can be celebrated any time between September 21 and September 29.
How Do You Celebrate Mabon?
How you celebrate will really depend on your personal practice, but common activities are:
Honoring deities associated with the harvest through prayer, ritual, and offerings
Expressing gratitude for what you have
Spending time in nature to observe the subtle changes of the seasons shifting
Casting spells and/or performing rituals for prosperity and protection
Honoring and giving offerings to the ancestors
Spending time with friends, family, and other loved ones
Having a grand feast
Decorating your altar with season-appropriate items
Clean and cleanse your personal space
I wish you a lovely and abundant first Mabon!

💫 jar spells 💫
jar spells are a super easy way to cast. they're a personal favourite of mine, and if you make them in tiny vials, they can be easily hidden in your room, on your person, or somewhere else you need the spell to manifest. here's a quick breakdown for all the tips you'll need to know.
👁 know which ingredients spoil. y'all, do not forget this one. if you want to throw together a jar spell but you're using something that spoils, like milk or a fruit / vegetable, please throw it away and replace it after a while if you're keeping it around you or the house. you don't want to risk inhaling anything you shouldn't. if you're burying this, putting it somewhere to forget about it, or using it in curses / hexes, then you're probably fine.
👁 use a formula. honestly, this is just to make y'all's lives easier. i always do 2 parts liquid to 1 part herbs / spices to 1 part fruits / vegetables (if i'm using them). so for instance; two cups of water / vinegar, a handful of herbs / spices, a handful of fruits / vegetables. for the most part you don't have to have an exact science.
👁 know the meanings of what you're using. vinegar in a spell for love or protection maybe isn't your best bet, baby. it doesn't hurt to check! if you have a personal association with things, try those! for instance, cinnamon is oft used in love spells, but if you can't stand the stuff, it may do to use it elsewhere. maybe use it's heat in a 'leave me alone' charm!
👁 find a place to put them and know when to change them. most stuff you're not going to want to stick in the direct sun since it'll cause it to spoil faster or evaporate faster. protection jars do well by your door, under your bed; wisdom jars do well on a bookshelf; love jars do well in tiny vials on a necklace by your heart. get creative, y'all can imagine the rest. but once they begin to spoil, again, unless that's part of your casting, change them and renew them!
👁 don't stress. these don't have to have a whole complex ceremony with fancy words said over them. lord knows i just throw what i need together with the intent in mind, seal it with candle wax of the appropriate colour (or honestly white wax if i'm out, 'cause a bitch is broke but tea lights are cheap) and put it in it's resting place. these, the way i do them anyway, are meant to be easy alternatives for when you can't do an entire conjure or a whole ceremony.
good luck. 🖤
If your sage or candle smoke rises to…
The west: you need to clear your body.
The north: you need to clear your mind.
The south: you need to clear your heart.
The east: you need to clear your spirit.
