I had a dream that heaven was just an infinitely long steam train that traveled through beautiful and fantastical environments. The angels were flight/train attendants, and God was the conductor (but you never saw or heard him). If you didn't want to be on the train, you could ascend to a higher state and just be eternally blissfully sleeping. Apparently it used to be a big boat but God got obsessed with trains as soon as they were invented.
