I bought a Valentine’s Day card on Etsy for my friend from this awesome artist I met through work, and after I met him I posted a really cool photo of one of his cards on my Instagram. Before I bought it, it gave me the option to send a comment to the artist. I wrote a short letter saying something like I love your art, keep doing what you’re doing, and when he sent me my card, this came with it with a note saying “Thanks! Your photo of my card was rad!”

Not only did he remember me, but he sent a very nice, heart-warming gesture.

I love little encouragements like these.
