about me and pigeons
I'm Asia, my special interest are city pigeons. i rescue them from the streets whenever I can, feed them and take photos of them. they've become my hyperfixation in 2019.
pigeons are not only my favourite pet, but also the symbol of unconditional compassion from humans to little creatures, like them.
feral pigeons are descendants of the birds who, in fact, have contributed to us (for example carrying wartime messages). we once loved them but now, since they are no longer useful, we chose to abandon them. it could show how human civilisation was cruel.
many of us want to change the world daily. we can all agree it's too hard for a single person to change whole earth. many would even say, we cannot make it. if you care for any living thing, not because it's beautiful, useful or smart, but because it wants to live just like you and me, then you care about pigeons.
