To be honest I haven’t posted because I couldn’t think of a segment that fit me but Gypsy Tears came to me but then I went on a search for the perfect word to describe my gypsy state and found Numinous.
Numinous (adj.) – Latin Origin – language of love.
Describing an experience, object or person that makes you fearful yet fascinated, awed yet attracted- the powerful, personal feeling of being overwhelmed and inspired.
This is what I want you to feel about me and my music. My idea is not making this just a music post but more of a music friendship through JR and my personal accounts. I want our followers to feel connected and keep them wanting more so I feel like the best way to get to know who’s behind JR’s twitter is to build a connection with you through my twitter, insta (@nicolekrod) and MOST IMPORTANT SoundCloud. I am liking songs all day long and I only reblog things that are released on the website. My likes include ANY music that intrigues me.
This segment will bring you music that touched and drew me in with its emotional story or sounds hence the tears part of the title and then comes the Gypsy. No I don’t mean this in the way of Borat, “Gypsy, give me your tears,” way. I say Gypsy in more of a hippie way. But then comes my ghetto twistside and hey I blame that on the fact my name was going to be Kyandra (aka my alter ego) or my Nelly CDs on my walkman that I used to listen to mixed with some Usher and Lil John make a beat that make her booty go claaaap. So the fusion of music I have been influenced by is at such a range that now a days the music I listen to completely reflects that.
DISCLAIMER: My music may not ALL be for everyone and if its not then good I’m happy we have different opinions because thats what music is about. Collaborations of diverse sounds, lyrics, strings, bass, drums, snares, beat kicks and so on and so forth.
My first segment will just be a huge mix of the songs I’ve been listening to for the past 4 weeks or so and maybe some older ones in there.

The original ZHU ~ Faded was one of my go to songs during my trip to Cali and when I saw Odesza did a remix I nearly melted. I saw Odesza at DoLab at Coachella and if any of you went to Coachella and were amongst the crowd I am sure you understand why. If you have never heard of either ZHU x Odesza you should check em out.

Niklas is a German 19 year old God in my ears eyes. I got so excited when I saw he was unsigned and approached him only to find out, sadly, he has been signed already but no doubt congrats to whoever signed him. I know a special sound when I hear one and he’s got it.
