Okay, so I’m reading the Guild Hunter series by Nalini Singh right now (book 2 actually), and as I am reading it I feel big similarities with Sarah J Maas. I know SJM is a big fan of Singh, and truly I don’t accuse her of anything, but some things can’t be coincidence. Like Jason ? Dark hair, dark wings, super discreet spymaster who can sing ? If I hadn’t specified the name you would have told me Azriel.

Does anyone who did read the two series had similar feelings ?

I am absolutely not thinking about doing a whole Black Dagger Brotherhood marathon after reading Lover Unveiled, absolutely not. And I am not thinking about doing live reactions on tumblr and insta, and quizz, an all those stuff, no I am not.

Currently reading Lover Unveiled by J.R Ward and I fucking love the banter between Sahvage and Mae.

Just finished Flamefall by Rosaria Munda and it was truly brilliant. Best book of the year for now and really looking forward the next one.

Can people please just stop with the spoilers of ACOSF?

The book comes out in 3 days it’s really not that long.

And the copies gifted by editors before the book is out are not meant to spoil the others readers, if you have the chance to have one it’s super rude to just post it on the internet.

Before being in the hands of readers books are the work of a person, it’s basic respect toward this person to not post spoilers before release day.

So I’m 30% in  From Ash and Blood and so far I kind of don’t like it ? It’s not that it’s bad but I just don’t care about it ? Has anyone feel that way about the book ? Does it get better ?

I really want to like those books, but for the moment it’s really not happening.
